someone passed me the link to DaDigi's website. I snooped around the directories in it because they were not hidden, pw protected or anything. Open to the public eye and curiosity.

Naturally, my IP showed up in the logs. DaDigi had someone cross check the forum list of users and IP's to find out who it was.

DaDigi then confronted me over MSN asking questions like "is xxxx your IP?"

"is your ISP xxxx" (note: its just the tracert function)


Just thought I'd let the forum know.

I traced the ip back to forum users. Why? Dadigi got threatened that the stuff "mass downloaded" from his website will be used against him. So I was going after the threat. Not to mention using pictures of him in any way to cause harm and / or without his permission is against the law you know. At least in my county it is. So you should be rather happy that your name is cleared. (Since you only got that address and looked around a bit)

Can't you let the FBI do their job instead then? I don't see how it was appropriate for you to use the forum for digi's personal business.

Well as long as you guys have problems with EVERYTHING I do, I cant help your problems. Because frankly, noone can be wrong in everything. So if you want things to change. You better tell what is right and what is wrong for you. I only hear everything is wrong. And I cant do anything with that...

You helped DaDigi trace an IP down; it had 100% absolutely nothing to do with the forums. Am I allowed to ask you to start searching for the IP's that have looked at my mainpage to find out if any of them are from SGW?

Actually thats a fact besides ... these day's Zeratul it's useless to look up for IP's cus most of the people work with dynamics IP's anyway's why bother searching sumething their isn't "anymore"

So you were identified? Oh noes? Might I add that these forums arnt some specialised service. They're just forums and can be used to track an IP if an admin feels the need.
