I for one would like to say that I believe this new turn of events is going to cause more harm to the situation rather then good. Sure you have the mods protected somewhat. However that is not what is needed. You need moderators that are captains. People who are not afraid to do their job. People who will end this reign of chaos. With these new masks you make the mods live in the shadows when they should be right there in the open enforcing the rules.

I dislike this idea. But when ever I say something like that it either gets locked/Deleted or people just dont listern and then they wreack the forum moral for all.

Funny thing is, new names were introduced by admin Jason, for the reasons:

-The community (thats you guys) complained too much about mods mixing personal and ingame stuff with modding. This way they cant really do this.

-Massing of mods.

Even the mods didnt like it to say the less. So, now please dont blame us for that too.

What?

To say the mods can't really mix personal and in-game stuff in their modding anymore is utter rubbish! They are still the same people, with the same ties, same loyalties, same attitudes, same conciensce etc, etc - the only difference now is that they have a degree of anonymity and therefore protection from others from what may be perceived as bad/unfair decisions/actions. If a mod did previously favour their in-game friends wen making forum modding decisions, giving them anonymity will not make them less likely to do so - quite the opposite in fact!
