RANT ALERT, sorry, Im just frustrated by this topic

at first thought to some nuking the semple and starting over might seem attractive, HOWEVER you need to look at a bigger bicture here.

WOULD YOU PREFER:
-the spammers are allocated the spam temple to carry on in (yes there might be the occasional user that disregards the rules, but its that USERS fault NOT the spammer community)

OR

-due to a lack of a spam temple the spammers continue spamming in general?

I personally wouldnt support the latter option. If there must be a new forum start, AT LEAST take into consderation the effect it will have on other people.

I personally am disappointed, this attitude seems far too primitive. if there must be something done, maybe you could start a new SGW forum on another URL and leave the existing forum to the spammers so there is a CLEAR sense of division?

dont get me wrong, division isnt my goal. I'd much rather see unison somewhat between forum members.

there are memories here that many are wanting to hold on to. a new beginning might be okay BUT AT LEAST MAKE SURE ITS WHAT EVERYBODY WANTS!

Postcounts? IT DOESNT MATTER. those with a large-ish postcount, (myself included) will know that it just means that we spend a bit more time here. NOT that we are all obsessed n00bs that want ranks...
ive been here since April last year, and I have learnt this. i was amongst those who thought otherwise, but after previous cleanouts of the temple, my count dropped in total several thousand times.

maybe you all should come down to the temple and see just how well we all get along (other than the playful role play violence).

we are not your source of problems, please dont shift the blame on us.

They don't want to build a better Temple they simply want to wipe the slate clean, even though the Temple is the friendliest place in the forum outside maybe the welcome section

i agree somewhat, but rather than holding lessons, it should be learn from example maybe... if ppl want to see what the temple is really like they can come and see. 'lessons' implies a minimum attendance. the whole Idea of this is showing what we really are like. i find that when forced to do something, it taints the experience somewhat. therefore, let it be choice

I would have to agree. We could nuke general but don't nuke the Misc we don't deserve that, we didn't do anything for that.

As for tok'ra's account he did ban avoid at least a hundred years ago.

yep restarting the forum is NOT a good idea. it would probably cause more division between members. this thread is evidence enough that we dont need more.

if you want YOUR REGULAR AREA deleted, plz, go for it, but leave us with memories out of it.
