keeping covert threw ascensions

okay so all the big doller rollers out there, bought there way up to 38. some might be, what 39 now? what about the people that dont spend cash?..

is it possible to get covert levls that high without spending money? with out it taking 2/3 months? my answers no, unless you farm every turn, for weeks on end... hell it sucks, to buy up to levl 32, inbetween ascensions because people can use that naq else were..(i.e UP limit for next ascension..)


i think the covert levls from 37 on down need a major DEGRADE in cost... since coverts already been DEGRADED in POWER......

What's wrong with it taking 2-3 months to get the bigger covert lvls? What's wrong with having to make a long-term investment in your account? What's wrong with having something to aim at? What's wrong with having to work to achieve something in this game?

Why do people always want to make the game easier? Its pretty darn easy already....

Agree I have said before and will say again, There are players in the DDE ranks that can farm upwards of 500tril per month.

Its one of the things killing the game slowly. 23 ascensions, 2 weeks each, bare minimum 46 weeks (6 weeks short of a year). How many other games take you almost a year to become competitive, no matter how much time you put into it. All you can do for this game is make it easier, it'll never be shorter.

this game doesnt revolve around DDE jt so stop speaking of alliance goals and what not here pride and so forth can be talked among DDE selves, in your personal forums or in general... this is not the thread 4 it

comes close to what.. 2-3 years?
then to grow your account..ms covert..army size all adds up.. makes people mad...by then there will be covert levl, 45+ im sure of that, who would be able to catch up to that if they start new?

I dont see thats as a major issue for new players as there are plenty of accounts for sale with all the leavers, new players can get an unknown from $150 upwards far quicker and with far less effort by simple farming/raiding resources to trade/sell.

Ascending is only an issue to current players who have invested heavily in RAW UP or Covert / AC levels as they lose a lot when they start to ascend, then have to change their style of play during the time it takes to ascend. But the ascensions were always meant to have that effect, when new ascensions are released older players have to give stuff up to ascend or get left behind, and newer players get a chance to catch up. It worked when MSs were also wiped out by ascension but has been far less effective as a 'leveler' or catch up mechanism since MSs were excluded.

Personally I would scrap unascended accounts, auto ascend them all to LG and make all new accounts LG, then add several new ascensions with bonuses worth having, and make it so MSs take a big hit when you ascend. But it wont happen as Admin is far more interested in keeping his current big spenders happy than he is in gameplay.

And you can't scrap un-ascended accounts. What about those that are new and have done a months worth of ascensions already? Or are you some how going to refund what they spent, including time? It would still take over 7 months. Possibly work if you upgrade ALL accounts by 6 ascensions (to a maximum of 23). So that no time was wasted. Other then that, all those under LG+1 will loose months of work.

@ Scar Face: I'm not saying to remove the effort you put in. I'm simply saying, new people are FAR less likely to play if its going to take (currently) 9-10 months to compete, or even 6 months. The issue is the COMPULSORY time you MUST spend to START competing. Again, name a single game where no matter how much time you put in, you can't compete until after 6 months.

no one mentioned gifts, reducing time to ascend. The only ones I see whining are the people claiming the effort they put in, using that as a argument not to implement an idea that would allow others to catch up with less effort into RAW stats. Specifically the reason being a new person cannot catch old accounts without throwing mass amounts of cash into the game, so tell me how is that free? The game will slowly die if your mentality is to keep it the way it is, cause no new players are gonna wanna stay, when they don't have much of a chance to war in a war game. The idea allows for more balanced accounts around, thus providing challenges in war, are you telling me you don't want a more challenging game play?

Yes it's a FREE game, and I didnt say you have to spend $150, I just said if you raid/farm $150+ worth of resources you can trade up to a Unknown account, it's a route to Unknown that requires far less effort and time than ascending and IMO the smart move for any new player.

As for scrapping ( auto ascending ) accounts below LG to LG, and starting new accounts at LG, yes a small number would be upset having just ascended 1,2,3,4 times, but with every major update some are upset and lose out and you have to look at the big picture. And NO autoascending all accounts by 6 times would NOT for fairer as the cost of the first 5 or 6 ascensions is very cheap ( just time consuming ), where as the later ones get very expensive

The game has become very unbalanced, Covert / AC levels are far too important now ( hence why those who can buy insanely high levels ). Used to be that anyone could technically mass anyone else, with the last major update ( Stat doubling, alliance repairs & PPTs ) the biggest players became pretty much unmassable to the vast majority of players, and coverts made them unsabbale by the vast majority of players. Also speed ascending was made far more expensive.

I'd rather see a prepaid installment plan...
pay several tril at a time, once you're all paid, the new level is yours.

why not just stop covert levels getting wiped out when you ascend, like the ms.

See all this talk about people leave because they cant catch up etc is crap, the game is an MMO, all MMO's have a certain grind time to achieve goals, if you cant handle that aspect of an MMO then they are not for you,

I'd love to know if those who leave because they "cant" catch up are the same type of people that buy WoW accounts on ebay because they want an instant max level because they "cant" catch up.
