Re: prizes for achievements
sorry was thinking about julliettes post re linking the game and forum more
is it possible to basically register for forum at signup
as a gateway to help players choose what way to go in the game with a mentoring area for
players to help with getting new gamers to continue and stay

Re: prizes for achievements
Technically yes, Frazz. It is possible. Disable non-game forum registration, and make every account registered in the game also register as a forum account; not too complicated. Thought about doing that for NG, actually.
As for a 'nursery', not entirely sure what you are thinking of there. In part, NG can fulfill that purpose, and well.. mostly the established players are responsible for the 'training' of newbies. (Admittedly being 'driven' onto the forum could be helpful to them, providing direct - uncomplicated - access to this channel.)

Re: prizes for achievements
I love this idea.
Almost like the Galatic Activity page in NG (without every hit, I hope, don't want the whole server to see my farm list) married the top 10 list in ascended, and they had a baby (the rewards like ascended).
Could even reward alliances for being most active or whatever, really get people into the game again. Competition is a good thing.

Re: prizes for achievements
I like it but would love some more opinions on what way we could take it
and julliete by nursery I mean a gateway page or link showing some history of alliances
or introductions for players to people who wish to be mentors to new players
and that player noob and old are tied together for a period of time till up and running
