I always wondered what it was telling me...
At first, I thought it was telling me that it was out...
but it's kind of hard to defend your realm / airspace if you are still docked...
then I thought it was telling me that perhaps they had indeed bought a MotherShip,
(since I hail from the days when you started with 3 units, and no Mothership)
For a while as a noob, I bought / maintained a single fleet,
so that other noobs could see that I had indeed purchased a Mothership for 450 (million?) naquadah.
Thats the point. If it says its out, then it should be out. If its in, then it should reflect that.Juliette wrote:People still don't start with a Mothership though.
That's what it tells people: "This player has a mothership."
Says nothing about size, presence, etcetera..
Could make it so it reflects presence.. but that's all. It would make sense, what with Motherships providing a substantial bonus to defence.Dubby_CompGamerGeek2 wrote:Tetrismonkey wrote:How about when you spy someone, it actually tells you for certain if an MS is out or not, and not just random text...

I would tend to agree, but mostly when there is the extreme lopsided covert advantage of seeing every other stat 10x over, and most of the planets 5x over...CCexyDCapedCrusader wrote:how about it better for planets it takes ages to get planet stats if they have 10 planets

and then the little bugger's planet turns out to be a 20k UP that can't possibly be worth the trouble
of spying 20x over... and it's not even their best planet anyway.
I don't know about anyone else, but it drives me bonkers enough that I want to steal the stupid planet anyway... but I don't, cuz that would be stupid on several different levels.
