Updates 2010 - Updated Bug List

Bugs existing:

Bugs fixed:
*Not being able to take planet despite having more then enough fleet power
*Gaining Naq by buying planet defences
*Actual fleet power, and displayed fleet power not matching
*Neg cost to repair weapons was to aid with the price roll-back.
*Weapon repair setting weapons to 1 strength
*Unable to take planets due to Error occurring.
*Planet added power no longer showing (Intentional. As spying is now free, and each planet can ONLY add 50% max.)
*Alliance PPT limit didn't work.
*MS not engaging when minimum attack power not reached vs defence.
*Liver suicides working at a 1:1 ratio
*Amount killed after Defense is 0'd no longer related to ATs used

Not sure is anyone else has noticed this yet but pricing of planet defences is bugged. Up to 500k, it all works fine, but after that it gets weird. Prices listed are for mind blowing (monsterous) planets sizes

500,002 - 600,001: each def costs -270,000,000 (-240,000,000) naq each
600,002 - 800,001: each def costs -135,000,000 (-120,000,000) naq each
800,002 - 1,000,001: each def costs 0 naq each (both)

So you actually get given 54T (48T) for building those 500k defs. It happenned each time when I built defs for all ten of my planets. I'm not sure exactly how it was meant to work, but its a pretty safe bet it wasnt supposed to be like this, so possibly someone else would like to confirm this and let admin know about it.

Yes, I noticed this.
above 1m is 135,000,000 and above 1.2m is 205 or something (can't recall exactly)

I went to take a planet today (on BETA) and it tells me that i dont have enough fleet strength to even consider attacking

Enemy Defences: 119999 (Def: 359,997,000,000)
Fleet Strength: 247,000 (571,064,000,000)

now can someone please check my maths??
cos im pretty sure that 571 billion > 359 billion

and i dont think that its a platform, cos they arent calculated before attacks are they?

Confirmed even with "Fleet Strength 693,683,232,000" I also got
"You must have at least a small small portion of the defensive value of a planet (somewhere between 15 and 20 percent), in fleet strength, in order to convince your pilots that it is not a complete suicide mission without meaning... "

I noticed my strike and defense powers are doubled compared to what they used to be few weeks ago. And I didn't update them to a level which I would have doubled them.

Attack adn Defense (not fleets) values are double what they were before (in effect weapons are twice as powerful - call it progress...)
Covert & Anti-covert: These used to have a 10x multiplier in them -that is replaced with a 2x multiplier.

Well, its not that bad for 2 reasons.
1) It's not a bonus. It's just an increase in the number gained from actual military (removing the effectiveness of other bonuses in effect)
2) Covert isn't multiplied by 10, but 2 instead. This means Covert planets go from adding like 2%, to adding more like 10% per planet. So, your 500b covert planet, which added to your 25T covert, now adds 500B, to your 5T covert. 10%, instead of like 2% :)

New bug. Weapon repair (at least for the 2IC) repaired my fleets, but took my attack weapon strength down to 0
Alliance bank gift doesn't increase for the 2IC (Commands unconfirmed)
And visiting the back room doesn't have any effect.
