Rules/Guidelines for the Recruitment Centre

The following rules/guidelines are in place for the Recruitment Centre.

  1. Keep the subject of your thread descriptive, and most importantly, concise. State if you are looking for a CO or officer in the subject line of your original post. If you wish, you may include additional info.

If you are looking for an officer, state in the subject line of the first post:
    (a) the word "officer" or "officers" in a sentance or not
    (b) if you are recruiting for Perg. Realm, please indicate so, the absence of "perg" is interpreted that it is main
    (c) any additional information you wish to include

If you are looking for a CO, state in the subject line of the first post:
    (a) the acron. "co" or another derivative in a sentance or not
    (b) if you are recruiting for Perg. Realm, please indicate so, the absence of "perg" is interpreted that it is main
    (c) any additional information you wish to include

If you are looking for an UP circle, state in the subject line of the first post:
    (a) "UP circle" or another derivative in a sentance or not
    (b) if you are recruiting for Perg. Realm, please indicate so, the absence of "perg" is interpreted that it is main
    (c) any additional information you wish to include
  2. Include details in your post about what you offer possible officers or COs. Don't simply write something like, "just like it says..post offers here", or something similar.
  3. When you've found an officer or CO, add "closed" to the beginning of the original post subject. Do no delete the existing information in the subject area.

    Examples of this are:
Closed - 1 officer wanted, 10 million per turn
    CLOSED... 3 officers wanted
closed - CO wanted in Perg.
  4. If you wish your thread to be deleted, change your subject title in the first post to say "Delete". Your thread will then be deleted and cannot/will not be recovered.

    Examples of this are:
    "DELETE"
    "delete"

If you are unsure as to which to put, please read this. These are the interpretations of closed and delete.
  5. If you are looking for officers or a CO do not create multiple threads. Use your already existing thread to edit your offer, or to bump as you feel necessary. Players are allowed one thread for officers and one for CO's in servers that allow them. Multiple threads will be deleted.
  6. Threads will be pruned as needed so that they remain at a reasonable size. Attempts will be made to keep posts that illustrate qualities/character traits that may be helpful to the creator of the thread. In the last post a mod will note if pruning has been done.
  7. No hijacking threads. If you're looking for officers create your own thread. Don't post that you're looking for an officer in another persons officer recruitment thread.
  8. Rules are subject to change without notice.
