Alliance Invite System

Admin is it not possible to change the invite system to accept either name or ID or only ID.

I mean from my test if you don't get the name 100% correctly then it sends a invite to the wrong person if there is someone existing with the name you wrote or you get the player don't exist.

That would be avoided if you add by ID.

Re: Alliance Invite System

It should be done by ID not name, has its been shown in the past when people start adding spaces to there names at the end to mimic someone else it can cause issues.
Deep within Noob Cave, you find a strange pool filled with a glowing blue liquid. You think back to what your mother told you about unfamiliar liquids found in caves.

You're pretty sure she said "Drink it! What's the worst that can happen?"

Re: Alliance Invite System

late to the game, but I still agree with this idea... and so far, no objections...

the invite system should also include a checkbox option...

like:

Do you really want to invite this player to your alliance?

Checkbox options FTW... :smt047

Sure but as far i am concerned ID or name should be what you have = you have both options.

Re: Alliance Invite System

At the moment you can invite them, and then you automatically get a link to who you've invited so you can check that you've doen the right person. At that point if you have't you can revoke their invitation.

Even though you can do the above, I AM for getting invites by ID happening!

A sentiment I can agree with, except some of them have never done a good job. For further details, PM me INGAME Id 9095.
