the calendar itself states it ends at the year 2012, there is no document or artifact stating that the year 2012 is going to be the end of the world


I read an article about a man whos direct ancestor are the mayans and he was telling he was really upset about the things that the media were giving out about the mayan calendar ending at the year 2012

it`s completely about mass manipulation, but that`s the way how things like this end when stupid journalisst from yellow press write about things they know absolutely nothing about and people believe them because the community lives in the impression that everything what is written in the paper is pure truth....

How can you talk about something with absolute certainity, when you have no evidence with which you can back it up???
that`s like claiming that something happened when it actually didn`t...it`s like trying to rewrite the history

stupidity of certain individuals never stops to amaze me really

on the other hand, if this was the case and the world would come to an end, I would sort it my way and that`s:

"buy a keg of bier, sit out on the street with my mates, drink the beer and watch how everybody is freaking out"

ahh... yes... calendar goes to 2012... but where does it say the world ends when the calendar ends?

unless the goverment is hiding or not telling something that would actually concern the population about the year 2012 then I don`t even see a reason for this issue to be open

tbh I do think the end is soon-ish, but NOT in 2012. besides, its not like any of us can predict when it'll happen. i just find the assumptions about the mayan calendar (as per my last post) to be incredibly naive, and intellectually, on par with bacteria.

lol fair point, my Naughty Nurses calender ends on 31/12/2010 I doubt that means the Naughty Nurses think the world ends on that day, just means they want to sell me another calender next year
