Re: France and Hollande.

This is what we have been saying since the day Nicolas Sarkozy (not the poster child of good government either, but at least not a mockery of politics like Hollande) lost office to this absolute backwards-born dweeb.

Typical story bullied kid taking power and going even more insane with it.

Re: France and Hollande.

This guy puts the idea of "ashaming your nation" to a whole new level of high!

He's a complete joke, so is his gov. A socialist-progressist gov, taxing to the extreme, utter incompetence in justice where thugs are more free than ever to do what they want, dog to Obama for the Syrian War, totally incompetent in international meetings, most unpopular president in the quickest amount of time.

Not to mention a complete puppet of the "NWO". He made me believe into the NWO, that says it all...(considering what my opinion was about it before, then after his election).

I don't think that is the case Jim. Hollande needs the war just as much as Ovomit to distract the people from all the scandals. it's not a case of sucking up to America or Ovomit for the power, he's sucking up to America because he needs the war to survive politically...that makes Hollande even more dangerous than just a lapdog doing what he's told.

I know he's trying to attract attention elsewhere.
His government is the most incompetent and self-contradicting (in media they bash each others!) we have had so far since I was born and probably long before!

I've been warning people of the incompetence of Govt for years (no t directed at anyone....noi don't think i am some sort of hero or smarter than anyone else. before anyone says anything. i don't go on some ego trip because of this). people will not listen till it hits them personally, just as i said so many years ago on these boards.

Our govts are the greatest threat to us the people, and to world peace. they are all traitors!

Re: France and Hollande.

Dragging discussions like this into a bigger philosophical 'debate' on whether or not government is a good thing is the reason why nothing changes. ;) As with all things, the people in favour of status quo might not outnumber those who want things to change, but they sure are the largest single block (no one else can agree on how to actually DO things differently); 'public opposition' consists of people who only know how to whine about how things should NOT be done.

For instance: 70% of French wants Hollande gone.
10% wants NO government
20% wants another President
5% wants another type of government
20% wants to just shut themselves in their homes
15% wants nothing, but it's all crap to them

And then there's the 30% who want to keep Hollande. (Numbers come out of the big hat, they are nonsense, of course, but the split opposition counts. No one can get those groups to work together without being as epic as the great Strong Men of the Past. Well, maybe Putin could, but he has different interests.)

Re: France and Hollande.

I would be satisfied with either a different government within our republic or a change to going back to France's natural type of regime (but not Absolute, I'm not that much for such a big change lol).

I share the feeling of average German citizen from 1919, a feeling of humiliation growing as the incompetence and patheticness repeats itself. Except the guilty ones aren't the outsiders (France, UK and USA from Versailles treaty), but from the inside!

Avé Caesar. Bring back the days of Odo!

In Germany 1919, the overwhelming feeling was that the Emperor stuck a dagger in the back of the nation by surrendering. ;) Not that different.

Re: France and Hollande.

Bourbon Monarchy is our "natural" regime (not saying Absolute Monarchy, it wouldn't fit and I wouldn't appreciate it either)!

People blamed the Emperor in 1919? :o I thought they blamed Weimar republic...

The Bourbons are imposters. At least they had style, that's a fair point. I wonder what a modern Bourbon Versailles would look like.
Legendary Apophis wrote:People blamed the Emperor in 1919? :o I thought they blamed Weimar republic...
Well.. German Revolution started a few days before the end of WWI. Versailles was signed a half a year later though and constituted the official establishment of the Weimar Republic, so I suppose they would blame everyone in government. Sort of like Avenger says "No government is good", only localised.

Luckily they received a saviour later on. I suppose France is just waiting for Citoyen Marechal. (Or a better -uglier- one.)

I get your point/s but i was merely explaining why Jim didn't get it before now....

It's like war, if you're an average Joe (non gender specific 8-[ ) why the hell should the average Joe care whose getting bombed so long as it doesn't affect me?! same syndrome here, it's not until it became personal to Jim that he started really questioning things, not least of which is the sanity of our leaders....if they have any semblance of sanity that is.

But more than that, in a round about way, i've been banging on about our govts blah blah blah and how they wage war with the middle class...if what Hollande is doing does not prove that as fact, i don't know what will.

Re: France and Hollande.

I don't know how a modern Versailles would look, but I know that we already have a King (Louis-Alphonse de Bourbon) and he's just waiting to get back to the throne, even though majority of people are still opposed to such a thing, propaganda and all in state education...so he'll be waiting for a while.
Problem with republic is that both president and PM can be clowns, with constitutional monarchy, only the PM can be (as there's no way a Bourbon could be a clown :-D , not saying there has never been in world history clown kings though).

And how would Bourbons be imposters?
