I find my 1m up very helpfull actually have 2 500m up planets merl and then every 5 days I get an extra 10m uu for free.

500m up planets, what's ure ingame id?

i had 8 200m up planets and then 2 duals with 500m up on them.. with 1m raw. every 3 days you can get 12m uu. that can help alot in a war.. every month you would get 120m uu for doing nothing.(provided you dont lose your planets.)

and 200m up planet is only like 40t if i remember right. so if you get 400m raw up and then 10 200m up planets you will be sitting at 2.4m up.

so for less then 500t you can get to 2.4m up.

With how easy uu is to obtain now, it's really not worth focusing the effort on them. I would personally aim towards att/def if your massing or up/inc if your just a sitting farm to build up naq. Up to allow you to go past plague and inc well self explanatory.

very true.. but again on the flip 10 200b att OR def (OR because they are not a dual as mine where not) sooo about 2t att/def its really how you play do you want free uu or do you want less losses

the ONLY time UP is worth having is if your building a bulk income account.

take my main - 2mil raw UP - 12mil total UP... this supports an army of 1.4/1.5bil ball park... so i can build income planets to match (currently has just shy of 1,5/tril turn income).

the extra income generated from having planets capped to an army of that size pays for the cost of building the UP... so, in the long run, its worth it.

now, lets say you have an every day account, either built for war or balanced play... to get raw up from 0 to 2mil costs roughly 3.5 quad naq.

at current market price you can buy 8,750,000,000 uu for 3.5q naq... meaning in order for a 2mil raw UP to pay for itself, it would take just under 12 years of unit production before you start making a gain over buying uu.

now lets say you go through the effort of building a few pretty UP planets and bring your total UP to say 5mil.

depending on how many planets you build to get that UP, you can safely say it will still take over 8 years to see a return (being more UP, but more cost to build planets).

but now you have planets - they risk being taken, you need to keep them protected... this adds extra cost and stress.

so you see, unless your building a 10mil+ total UP to stay above pluage for income reasons, your better off saving your 3.5q, and buying the 8.7bil UU as you need them

Plus, plan ahead, if you are not done with ascending and want to choose what kinda player/account you have/are or want once done then a good idea is to not make things that are a waste of naq if you are not done ascending yet.

Anyway, UP is one very important thing in the game, especially when determining what kinda account you want to have.
