Alliance bank and personal bank issue

I'm having an issue with the alliance function as of late and it's starting to bug me enough to post here. 
To benefit from alliance PPTs and other things I made my own alliance with myself only in it. The issue is that I'm automatically booted out of it every couple of days and lose all of my alliance bank
(I think it's 6 days this time around). I'm probably just out of the loop regarding the current alliance updates, but every time that happens, I also cannot bank any naquadah on hand to my own personal bank until I quit the alliance, even though it says on the Foreign relations button that "You are not a part of an alliance.". The message is also kind of funny with part of the text missing:
It's probably just me being stupid, but what am I doing wrong?
