Most confusing, intricate plotline on tv.
I want to know what TV shows YOU think have the most complicated (not necessarily the best) plotlines.

props for Andromeda.
Burn Notice, and Desperate Housewives.
Most Reality Live-in Television... Survivor, Big Brother...
or perhaps that's stench of not caring.
SG-1 was originally high on my list... probably because I didn't follow it regularly...
The Red John plot also ranks up there.

None that I can think of on tv but then again tv is dumbed down so that the majority are entertained rather than the minority left thinking </cynicism>
As far as confusing story lines go though I think if you sit down and try explain it simply to someone the storyline of the Metal Gear Solid game series is completely messed up o_O

Re: Most confusing, intricate plotline on tv.
I can genuinely say that from the Matrix, to LOST to Inception and Shutter Island I have never been thrown or confused by a plot line.
As for intricate I would have to say Breaking Bad (things like a huge story line of a woman potentially being a taddle and Walter playing with a thread on his hat.. a loose end, just after the focus shift.. amazing), Shutter Island (ridiculous premise when the end is visualised, good composition when you head back and watch it) or LOST.. yeah.. lost is lost. The last two seasons were abysmal.. but seasons 1-4.. there has never been and I doubt there will be for some time be as good Tv made.

It didn't really confuse me, but I'd say Lost qualifies for the "most".

Re: Most confusing, intricate plotline on tv.
I wish there was something confusing to watch. Then again, typically most people switch channels when things get confusing.
I would give credit to Fringe, but that has a logic of its own, once you have that, none of it is confusing.
Oh well. Fun times.

Lost lost me after the first couple of seasons.. Revenge is doing that atm..

There is no 'reporting structure' in this setup -- tech, mod, and section admins are all on equal footing, each with their own (somewhat overlapping) responsibilities.
Mods report directly to the mod admin, and indirectly to the section admin for the section in which they mod.

Re: Most confusing, intricate plotline on tv.
I think I'm in the position of never being WTH over a plot line in a sense of confusion.
The hardest thing by far, that I've encountered when following a show is keeping track of every supporting characters name in Game of Thrones. Supporting characters seem to get introduced so regularly and for such a brief amount of time......

Re: Most confusing, intricate plotline on tv.
the old sci-fi show known as Sliders...
(think sliding through slipstreams in time, space, and reality into parallel universes.)
that could get confusing in a hurry...
and for those who say they don't get confused by the plots they see...
The plots that you have to pay the most attention to...
ie cooking dinner, shuffling kids, or pets, or moving laundry is out of the question.
