Re: The Hobbit 2012

This was legitimately my favourite book to read as a young grizzly bear cub. So therefore i will probably critizise everything in the movie and how it differs from how i imagined it in my bear brain but i will watch it anyway and probably still enjoy it. >.>

Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.

Before Lost concluded, my main flippant excuse for not killing myself was that I wanted to know how it ended. I will get back to you with a new one when I find it.

OMG Tolkien orgasm - so much back story, great little in-jokes (Gandalf can't remember the names of the blue wizards), awesome action scenes!

Re: The Hobbit 2012

Watched it three days ago, I enjoyed it, even though the 3D didn't really add much to the movie, but nonetheless, it was rather great.

However, I was disappointed for one thing: the "dragon", we never really saw it. Usually it's the trick in low budget movies to avoid seeing the monster too much, made me wonder why we never really saw it...

Yes the eye, but I meant like we usually see in movies...a full dragon.
