congrats on 14 - welcome to 15...BIG GUNZ

well - here it is... almost :)

15 will be a refinement of 14, with some core changes...

1) weapons are bigger, costlier, and there is another top one (and its coded to be easy to add more)
2) weapon damage and repair are using 'cost of replacement' logic.
3) a scuffed weapon is easier to polish, per point, than an almost destroyed one...
4) happiness - stays - but politicians are the core of it (not projects). there is a politician level, that can increase the effectiveness of each politician.
5) supporter function uses partial 'top player' instead of just 'you'. (stops the exponential growth of constant supporter - allows everyone to benefit from the leader of the pack...(leader of the pack included :) )
6) think i am redoing market. player to player - no 'game market' .. still finalizing.
7) do not think i have time for another race, but will see... if i do, it will likely be a no-attack own race, is more powerful, so 'all against one' and 'one against all' -- but -- maybe next era.
8) some other little things...

i want to make quantum a 'solid' game that could stand on its own -reset or not... i hope i am moving to that where there is little imbalance, good strategy, and quick play...

15 should be interesting :D

best thing is that USS/SSs are no longer absolutely dominating :-D

Well, I already knew for a while I wouldn't play 15, but it sounds ok to me.
I did however like that Q was always completely different from preceding waves, not only an improvement of the last wave. And player to player market might be a bad idea, but that's for you guys to find out :)

Player to player is a bad idea.

IMPORT! the allaince changes and the military system into Q.

LOL make the military exp, rank count.

Suggest that every week sees the auto training of all uu into miners, and that every week 100UP is added to the account.

Basicly, transforming all the (old accounts) into min level farms.

The ablitity to buy 10000-15000 turns per week.

Mothership damage, to sheilds, the sheilds recieves the tech bonus.

care to explain? did you want a mirror of main, just dont' like change, or???

and for each q era being completely different - well - i could rephrase and say that happiness might become a permanent realm management feature -- and that this era is completely different regards weapon and market ...

oh - 2 other items:
an 8 USS max (or equivalent) limit per era on donations.
goa'uld happiness costs 10% more to acquire than other races :)

I liked the Happiness well enough and think it is versital enough to continue to add good qualities to Q.

I would like to see the MS have a more realistic damage. Currently, any baby ship can mass a Much larger MS far too easily(cheaply).

10% extra on Goauld would help to balance the races.

Looking forward to this wave.

the race thing would be nice.. very nice infect.. if you add the race idea in, i might play this wave too..otherwise.. happinese is just boring

happinese, the best way to get good in happinese is the first few weeks, after that it is impossible to catch up because the numbers are simply too much in the late game..
happinese in itself is kind of an imbalance, because the people that go for happinese early game will win in the end.

i just want to clear up that i'm looking for theses updates from main cause as i see it. Q SHOULD BE A MIRROR OF MAIN.

Expect that it's got it's own things aswell\

Since Q is one of those things that all about the last 20mins it's important that the rest are included.
Since if someone isn't active than their Military exp won't be as good.
Happiness need's to be balance with UP.
Covert, and AC means that someone can't use the AC level to take the rankings

Fair enough :)
I guess it's just as other things added later - AC, MS - once you get used to it you'll see it as much part of the game as UP.

As for the MS shields, I completely agree with HE. A 20bil MS strike on a 300bil def destroying so many shields is a bit rediculous.

Ranked Military XP would be great too :)

With all respect, I disagree there. Obviously the two are always going to have similarities ...but Q is the place to play with a few twists , a few surprises , and the occasional huge curve. That is what keeps it interesting ! Granted , I do not always like the changes, but I still like the fact that it is always a wee bit different.
