Almost Invulnerable?

So, have a bit of a poke around on the server, and I noticed the following:
Sabotage \
Blitzkreig |> Can't be used with out a stargate.
Raid /

Whilst I get this for new players, there is no way to destroy attack weapons to start with (just thought of this)
Also, along the same lines, all you need is a super defence, and 0 (yes 0) covert. Since you can't be sabbed without a stargate, you may as well not train covert (apart from seeing to steal other people's stuff). I see this as a major problem. Say someone has tech level 800 in defence. And ANYONE else who hasn't gone all out in attack (so, they can see people) will have less than 800 attack tech. So the defender has a super advantage. Max tech level, and can't be sabbed.

Now yes, I know you too can't raid/blitz/sab without a stargate, but with that defence, you just train income, and built unit production (can't be raided)

I already made a topic pointing this out in Newgrounds general, over a week ago. We all know about it.

Defenders have always had the advantage on the server; it sucks, but is true. That style of gameplay has been utilized for months in beta. Though the current no unit loss bug probably helps attackers more with farming too, so atleast it is a bit more active and aggressive.



(By the way it seems you merged the description of anti/covert, anti covert protects against sab, though I'm sure that is what you meant.

But it would still make sense for them to build least some covert to farm when they can be bothered/keep track of people. From what I can see in the top 5 and first page, most do, and add another stat other than income/defence.

Though you are right to a degree about anti covert, even that is being used by the top players now to hide their ridiculously high stats.)

Allas, I thought it would be more appropriate here, as it is a balance issue in my opinion.

So the mechanics around covert and anti are different to main? Of the description I read, I got the impression covert hides your stuff, lets you see others stuff, and protects from sabs, where as the anit, just allows you to kill enemy spies.

Reason being:
"SpyKiller Units" - and then things to make it stronger
Gave me the impression they were just to kill spies, and did nothing else, since there's no further descriptions. Is that not right?

Your correct. I found the more detailed description. Though the stargate problem still remains, max defence, and a bit of spy to see lower realms
