You could make it so that both buyer and seller pay 1% but if you only take say half of the trade then you pay an extra tax, in fact to help stop filling the postings up with little trades where say only 90% of the trade is accepted, you could set it up that you must accept a minimum of 50% of the trade you can also set it up that it has 2 buttons 1 for all the trade the other for 50%, if someone takes the 50% one then only the 100% button remains, of course this will be 100% of the remaining 50%

I am liking the anonymous idea from thorsworld1 more and more. It should lessen the market being used as a laundering/giving tool and wont stop ppl trading with someone just cause they have some petty problem with that player (in opposing alliance).

I think it would be good to be anonymous, like you said some people wont trade with another, those in war if they dont want to trade with the enemy can trade without knowing, though in war most would probably help each other

Finally i might be alone on this but i am of the option that Attack turns should not be a tradable resource. If rested turns generate faster when you dont attack, alliances will just have turn generating players that never attack anyone and give at's to massing members. My understanding of turns is an army's resilience or stamina. The army can rest up and prepare for battle (earning turns) or it can be out attacking (using turns) and will reach a point that it can fight no more (out of turns). Armies cant trade stamina as you would money or units and thus i think turns being a tradeable resource is silly.

You could make it that the turns would become personal use only that would eradicate this problem

I don't think there'll be an issue with flooded market from a single person with small trades. I will most likely implement a limitation on the number of trades you can have up.

Or start with only 1 for the time being, then you can research to upgrade your market capacity, up to 3 on-going trades at a time.

Brilliant, base it off market use. complete 100 market trades you unlock being able to purchase the 2nd trade slot

Max: depends on how many resources are being traded. If its just Naq and UU then max of 2, if its Naq, UU and AT then Max 6

Scale: Definitely, easier to make more trades when you are making 2 at once. ect



If its done, needs to be in conjunction with a % tax, to stop people doing 100 small trades to their friend rather than the one large one.

Well, I've got a prototype of the market up and running (finally)

Sorry it's taken me so long, to many life distractions at the moment.

Currently, you can accept brokers, and submit upto 1 of your own.

Over the coming days, I'll be working to provide cancel functionality, as well as NOT including your own brokers in the broker list (should only be a matter of SQL code tweaks)

Feel free to post and discuss further features to the market. Once something is settled on, I'll work on bringing it to the market.

turns aren't sent around in brokers? Turn trade can easily be done without this open market system.

One thing: wouldn't this effectively ruin private trade brokers?

This is for the Origins server, which doesn't have private trade brokers.

You are correct in that it is different to Main's market, but Origins is designed to be slightly different.

i put up a trade, my naq for some uu.

It seems to be up all good but it didnt take my naq. I dont think thats how its meant to function. U know incase i spend said naq before the broker is accepted
