Question about fairness and balance

If The New Origins just began this month how is it that when I signed up I only get 350 uu and most of the other accounts have 1,778 roughly and some in the top ranks have even more? Not to mention thousands of turns. How is it possible and why?

The unit production upgrades seem a little astronomical and with the naq amounts out there it will take forever to upgrade +1 unit each time.

The costs of every thing seems a little high..... and with no market or market turns it seems like it will take forever to do anything......

Ok that's fine, but how did those other accounts seemingly start out with so much more?

The thing is that with new players coming, the ratio of active/inactive players changed. So now farming is less productive. Before, you could log in and find all the inactives with 100k+ naq every once in a while. Now you have to farm for 30k or less all the time. I think that's what is slowing down your growth. So maybe adding a few extra inactives would make it fair.

Also, if you want to know, I have 108 UP and an army of 3500 (I got a few hundred units on the market), and The Architect has 140UP and also 3500 army (although I have no idea how he grows his UP since hes not nearly as active as I am). We have the two largest accounts in the game.
By the way, all those with 1782 units are inactive an have 40UP, so that tells you that the server is 36 days old. It's just that the announcement was only put up for everyone to see just recently.

There is a player-to-player market that can be used. On the beta server, there was someone that started like 1-2 months later, and caught up nice and quick, because they sacrificed their units at some good exchange rates.

I admit, it was a bit of a shame it took so long to get the word out there that the server had gone live, but I don't think it is to great a disadvantage. With the new players, those who have grown quickly with less players, are now growing at a snail's pace, due to a increased lack of Naq available.
