Is this why the game has been having repeated issues with having secure connections / > https: < recently?

It's currently only an issue on the ascended server if you try to access ascended.gatewars.com and the https: is NOT specified, but it's also been an issue on the main server recently...

I know that several of my fellow clan mates had noticed it, and reported it in our clan chat, but so far I haven't seen any bug reports on these forums.

http://ascended.gatewars.com -> works, no errors - log in fine
https://ascended.gatewars.com -> works, no errors - log in fine

Cannot replicate this report as it is. Are you sure you are not reporting the same issue as you did before, related to the very temporary SSL-expiration?

one of my clan mates was experiencing the issue earlier today, I'll see if I can send him this way.
