Some demis provide benefits like better attack weapons or better defense weapons that remain even after the demi god is uneqiupped. Once the demi god is no longer equipped the benefits should go away like they do with all other demis. I can equip my AT or CER demis but once they are unequipped the benefit disappears. Why are those without the demi equipped allowed to keep their powered up attack or defense weapons?

Because they've already been bought and paid for.

By that logic i should be able to keep my increased CER % without the demi equipped because my fleets and charisma were also bought and paid for.

Keep it the same across the board or remove demi gods altogether. Lord knows you already **Filtered** up the server beyond repair with your last update. The least you can do is keep things fair.

The demi didn't provide you with the ability to buy fleets or charisma

No but it provided me with an ability. When the demi is gone so is the ability. The same should apply to all demis.

It does, the ability to buy the weapons disappears when the demi is gone.

So I can equip a demi for a turn with 1k energy, buy all the weapons I can farm DMU to buy and then the demi is auto unequipped but I keep the benefit the demi provided even without the demi equipped? This is logical how?

The negative the demi caused while it was equipped is also gone while the positive remains.

The weapons remain, not the ability. Weapons still die, they still need to be repaired, and they're far from free.

So why does my CER not remain? Why doesn't it slowly die instead of just going away all at once?

You don't get it. The weapons ARE the ability. They are the positive. The positive remains, the negative goes away and the cost for the demi goes away.

Just like any other demi you should only maintain the benefit while you maintain the demi equipped. Why are weapons demis different than any other demi?

The 'cost' is the cost to buy and upkeep the weps and a small amount of energy. The only thing that costs due to the CER is the fact that it uses energy. You can argue about its disability sure, but I guarantee you wouldn't hold onto a demi that has an effective disability, enough to put you at odds when you have it equipped. E.g. you're not going to have a +CER and a -turns demi.
So the only 'real' downside is that you have to use energy, easy enough to drop a few turns from a farm run to harvest. Likewise, you have to drop a few turns from a harvest to farm for repairs and dmu to buy the weps.
If you want to start mixing and matching facets of CER and wep abilities, that have to be perfectly symmetrical in power, why not throw out the fact that the 'ability' is completely and directly susceptible to other players. CER is in fact not, no one can kill the planets it produces nor force the demi to unequip, everything it effects is completely out of reach, on the flipside we have the weapon demi - everything it effects is completely in reach of others.

But because of BMMJ's skill in arena you made sabbing completely useless.

You can turn your demi ability on and farm a **Filtered** ton especially with proper levels and a decent CS. Then you get to keep your ability and have the negative impact of your demi turned off. So you basically get the + from the demi without the - and there is no way to sab things away anymore. You "fixed" that for ETL. So basically you get the butcher from the arena or find a weapon demi and you don''t have to spend any energy to keep it equipped, don't get the - from the demi, but you keep the positive.
