Covert power is whacked...

For example 1: see the post called Covert Bug by Mercury Rising..

For example 2:

Person 1 has
Covert Action 721,853
Covert Skill: 15
Covert Operatives: 2,271
Cov tech: 75
NON-REPLI

Person 2 has
Covert Action 1,042,038
Covert Skill: 15
Covert Operatives: 2,271
Cov tech: 75
NON-REPLI

They should have the same. BUT person 2 has the covert stone so should have 6x the power of person 1... Either way it is whacked.


Also...if you try to spy the person with the cov stone I don't think you should lose spies as that isn't really fair as you have NO way of knowing, so there is literally just a spy bomb waiting to explode on unsuspecting spiers! ](*,)

covert and ac is messed up...example this guys covert is higher while i beat him in everything and no hes not a replicator nor have the covert stone or any fortifications

I tried a recon on support on day 1 when he had the covert stone and I lost 300 spies.

I tried a recon on HE on day 2 when he had it and lost 600 spies. (was trying to compare UPs to assess my progress)

Im not complaining or anything but it did seem a bit harsh as i didnt know either of them had it at the time.

So like hippy suggested, perhaps instead of repelling the recon and killing spies. A simple message similar to that which you get when a player puts up a polorised shield could work? and spies left alive.

Something like "Try as they might, your spies could not breach the parametres of *insert name*. It appears as tho a mysterious and very powerful force is contributing to the barriers of *insert name* Realm.

i think covert may have been put back into proportion now. not 100% sure on it tho.

sometimes when a formula changes it can take a few hours to update every account (if i do not force it, and it is not attacked, which resets the values too).
if its not 'fixed' give me the 2 IDs that are different (but should not be) and i can see whats what.

HOW TO GET COVERT POWER NOW

so to rebuild that

lvl 14 covert
Covert power should equal to the following
14/2=(7)^.5 *


[{(number of spies)^ (2/218?)*(14)}^.5 * (1.5)* 10 + (number of spies*10)]* race bonus* covert stone bonus

therefore if number of spies =1
{(number of spies)^ (2/218?)*(14)}^.5=1
1*1.5*10= 15
+ 1*10= 10 therefore it should be = 25.

So Hippy your covert is correct the other one hasn't reset.


This works for different covert levels and different techs

For MAJOR techs your going to have to add in another modifier after everything like "the race Bonus"

Covert Power = {(((2^a)*b)^.5)*(100+c)/100*10 + (b*10) } *(100+d)/100*(e)*(f)

a= Covert Level
b= number of spies
c= Tech Minor
d= Major Tech
e= Race (1 or 1.2)
F= Stone (1 or 6)

Isn't the limit 12, or was that just for the previous wave?

if there are only 11 ppl in the alliance and they send out 2 more invites which both accept u get 13..
