When I ascended I had to chose between Ajna, Ori and Indu. Tolah was a bad idea, having alot of points in personal skills ..... descension wasn't possible then.

With 20 in assassin Ori had the highest lf "already invested" ..... and at that time you had to wait for almost 1 day to upgrade something. Also you had 10 to charisma which was good ... but fleets were bought very hard back then. A bit later after I ascended Ori became the best option, because people were ascending with more APPs and it was easy to buy the 5-10 levels in charisma, flow and channeling.

Ajna and Indu were the only races with points in life force, flow and channeling .... back then these were the most important areas.

With Indu you had a small advantage .... you got to half life force faster so you were able to convert APP points sooner (4 turns sooner). This is the reason for which if I were to ascend right now for the first time I would go with Indu. You also had more lf already invested in those 3 skills (5,10,10) compared with Ajna (10,5,5). 15 in covert was good ..... people didn't had enough informations about ascended and most applied main info ... so when they saw ????? they didn't dare to spy :)

Ajna had the highest life force and you were getting the most lf per turn of all races (max life force 10 with flow 5 is better then max life force 5 with flow 10). More life force helped you get more power ups with flow and not with channeling which is 5 time slower. You had a regular distribution of points in physical skills and back then balance was a good thing as you needed every skill (not like it's now when covert is almost useless).

In the end I concluded that because of the higher life force I was going to get back trough life force what was "lost" in the beginning as Ajna has the least lf "already invested".

Because of that I went with Ajna and I don't regret that decision ;)

It was not a one stat like race for me (unlike tolah and ori), and it sounded great, so I picked it.

I have always been attracted to the whole "balance" theme...

So Ajna was a natural choice... :)

Where is the sgw guide for every ascended race already? :o

I need to find it (it tells which races ascend to ajna, indu, ori, tolah)
