Re: New Goa'uld/System Lord/Tok'ra??? Introduce yourself.

I remember when this forum had a new thread every hour and a new post nearly every minute. The Goa'uld forum was the most active on the entire forums, even more active than the GC, Spam forums and General.

Days gone by...

Now all the ancient gods are slumbering away from their verbal war field.

We Ancients never leave. We are present everywhere at all times. Our intervention in the affairs of the material world has lessened as we become more and more in tune with the ethereal plane.
Silence does not mean absence. Silence means presence.

Re: New Goa'uld/System Lord/Tok'ra??? Introduce yourself.

The ancient days were good... The days when mockery of a group (be they tau'ri, goa'uld, ori or something else) never went unanswered. It was answered quickly and forcefully. People acted back in words, rather than just a quick post with threat of ingame action. People spent considerable time trying to track down who had what secret identity.
No doubt it was even better back in '05...

These days, there's little point in it. One is answered by maybe one or two persons, posts are hardly original and there's a 50% probability that it'll be ingame threat.
We've long tried to bring back such times, but it has not worked.

Indeed the old days were glorious and fantastic but now we must await for new blood or bring those who linger to the forums. Yes Harakash, the System Lords reign Supreme in these realms now. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Re: New Goa'uld/System Lord/Tok'ra??? Introduce yourself.

That they do not.
They sleep, in the black forest of nightmare,
Are nothing but a spot.
In the great infinity they fare,
But come out they cannot dare.

Powerful are they who hold knowledge,
Not system lords who swing the sledge.
Not emptiness in the great nothingness,
Not ones who think nothing, even less.

They kill and destroy,
Punish and toy,
As the true god stands by and watches
The eternal struggle for blood
Which starts whenever a new one hatches.

God is not he who has power to destroy,
God is he who creates, he who is patient,
For power to destroy comes from the mortal toy,
And used by those who are not content
With their current state.

For what god would be restless
When he is a god? Shame.
What god would be vengeful and tireless,
When he holds in his palms time?
What god would destroy that which he made?

Alas in the minds of the weak,
Ascension is godhood,
When in truth 'tis but a tweak,
To the mortal coils
That fareth in the black woods.

Your kind has left this region just as much as the Ancients, Asgard and the Tau'ri, little Goa'ulds. Had you truly "won", there would have been innumerable posts by countless Goa'uld and no posts by others. There are hardly any posts at all here. I see no point benefit in fighting the few Goa'uld that remain. My children have eradicated and chased off your once-great armies.

Your delusional Tok'ra. Why post when there is no other race that can stand against us. We control the universe. Go back now Tok'ra and build a few more tunnels. Never in the SGW time have the goa'uld been in such a powerful position.

We stand supreme.

Re: New Goa'uld/System Lord/Tok'ra??? Introduce yourself.

Taking you four days, 23 hours, four minutes and forty seconds to reply, constitutes proof that you are hardly present, let alone supreme.

The fact that your kind used even longer than that to post, further strengthens this.
If you had had any rule here, you and yours would have had scores of posts for every post by someone not of yours. Fact is that since the 23rd of November, less than half the posts here have been made by Goa'uld. All of those have been in lackluster response to pokes by me, mine and others like the ancients.

The Tok'ra laugh at your supposed "supremacy".

Why would a god need to rule over the universe? Why would a god care about material possession?
No, you're rather misguided. Ascension is supposed to be enlightenment. For you, it's a weapon.

Alas, few of your words are true: "We stand", and you do stand. And stand some more. And in the end you top it off with standing, after which you stand yet again. You don't seek knowledge, for it's beyond you, and you don't observe either, for if you observed you would have known of all the Tok'ra in at least this galaxy. You stand.

Come on the new ones should present themselves here too...
This place came before the New/came back subsection, but of course, few newcomers actually role play into Stargate races, even less the symbiotic races.

Which is a shame really, as the symbiotic races tend to be the most fruitful choices.
They contain the best elements from two people. Myself for example, I contain the knowledge, wisdom, and healing ability of the Tok'ra while also possessing the endurance, pride, and ability to recover stronger than ever of a Saiyan. A truly perfect combination.

Well, I suppose Stargate role play isn't much anymore the interest of this game, not that it's new, but it's a shame..

My Return

High above a large planet a severely damaged hatak class mother shop is locked in orbit. Large pieces of the vessels infrastructure are missing, the ship amidst a sea of debris. Pieces blasted from the exterior of this hatak. However, to those who might pay closer attention this is no ordinary Goa'uld craft. It sport's what remains of an exoskeletal structure consisting of a material foreign to this type of craft. This material largely resembles the blocks used to create the synthetic race of machines known as the Replicators. Despite the exterior's apparent disrepair, the interior of the mother ship remains comparatively undamaged. Much like the outside however, the inside of this hatak sports technology not common to these ships. In fact, this technology is not common any where in the known universe. It's origins laying lost in the past. Only those who have tasted immortality, those who have ascended to a higher plane of existence and unlocked the secrets of time and space have rediscovered this advanced technology. - Receiving a signal from an unknown source the ships main interface powers up. It seems to cycle through various systems. Displaying a series of Goa'uld glyphs in rapid succession. Schematics of the ship are brought up on a screen and damaged parts of the hatak become highlighted in red as the computer scans the ship running a self diagnostic. If there were any inhabitants remaining on the vessel, a low rumble would be heard as a powerful generator of lost origins fires up from deep within the craft for the first time after years of inactivity. The ancient power source begins to emit a golden glow which begins to spread rapidly throughout the vessel. As the power builds still dormant systems come online. Engines, weapons, shields sealing off damaged sections of the ships haul exposed to space and life support.......
Several levels above this power source a totally sealed off chamber lays in darkness. One by one dim torches flicker to life, casting a low light across the chamber. In the centre of the floor lays the chambers sole item. A sarcophagus. The chamber begins to grow lighter but this new light does not radiate from the torches. The sarchophagus seems to come to life of it's own accord, the seal widening as the heavy cover slabs slide noiselessly apart. No body rests in side... Yet a curious glow now permeates the room. Seemingly it hovers above the sarcophagus for a time before it rises, disappearing through the ceiling. Back on the the bridge the ships interface continues to run it's diagnostics as the bright glow comes up through the floor where it begins to take on shape. The rumbling stops. The power source has finished charging and the ship discharges a halo of golden energy obliterating all of the debris floating about it.
Far below on the planets surface a low rumble is heard across the sky, much like thunder though the sky is clear. Many of the planets inhabitants stop what they are doing and look to the skies to witness a bright golden ring of light spreading across the sky. The ring growing larger as it travels away from the shining point from which it originated. Confused the people in the fields stand and watch as this star like light appears to be growing rapidly in size. As the object descends from the heavens it begins to take on shape. Clearly now a large object resembling a pyramid with mile long 'points' protruding from each face of this object can be seen coming from the skies. What's more this thing seems as if it will land on top of the deserted, ancient temple where the old God was was once worshipped. A frighted man whispers to his son who takes off across the fields, headed for the village. The priests of the old faith must be alerted. - Aroditian has returned......

Re: New Goa'uld/System Lord/Tok'ra??? Introduce yourself.

His body lay motionless as his own replcator cells ran intergal sub-routine processes. His body was organic enough for this attempt, but more human than others of his design. And it provided the insight for a promising alliance between two races. Or atleast the faction of it he held domiance over. Spider drones quietly observed and monitored the blending process, ensuring that neither would be caused harm.

The memories and thoughts of his own began to intermingle with those of his symbiote. He was shown images of battles and people long forgotten. This being he chose to become one with was clearly old. He, however, was not so; but quite young when compared to the other of his design. "Chose?" The taste of the word lingered in his mind. He had chose this. They had both chose this. One to further his people's understanding, and the other to bring a powerful force and hope to his. They shared a common enemy the two. And together they felt the capability of delivering both of their kinds from any possible threat.

The process finally ended with the last of their memories blending into one, both knowing every detail of the other's life, and both coming to reason on the same pupose. He sat upright, and the last feeling to come forth were those only described as honor and loyalty. Cal'mec's sense of duty to his Queen was unignorable and ever present. It was a sensation his own programming and redundant sub-routines realigned to accept in himself. This like everything else he shared with his bretheren. Two things now became clear, the gou'ald had a new enemy to fear and his fellow Tok'ra may have a hard time accepting him into their ranks.

All knowledge not a weapon? Taking a replicator page, "Does not compute."

Alas, few of your words are true: "We stand", and you do stand. And stand some more. And in the end you top it off with standing, after which you stand yet again. And a God can stand, sit, lie down, we do what we want. Tok'ra lower themselves using our traitorous brethren to work with our cattle and hosts to undermine us. That is not seeking knowledge. It is seeking inferior tauri brains and weapons to do what you can not. Defeat big brother. :smt100 (Don't know why I am speaking to a Tok'ra, and not torturing them for info but I as a God digress easily.)

Your dilusional words of vaunted power ring hollow and void. You only rule because of your deception on those whom you see as beneath you, hiding your secrets and true selves in dark corners. But when brought to light, all see just how powerless you are.
