The idea of this though is to scare people into not building to top 10, or get them so mad they commit account suicide whilst trying to mass back..

instead of it being the same 10 people for the next year with ever increasing stats.

ofcourse people could build 150 tril defenses, and they might find that they last.

For those of us who have been off and on playing the game for almost 10 years, it was a goal you couldn't attain then. Breaking into the top 50 was hard back then for the smaller guys. *Speaking as one of those, years ago.
