We all know Perg was created for smaller account to grow before they join Main when they would have a better chance at surviving.

We all know some people live in perg now *cough*Mightymidget*cough* and have reached rank 2 (i believe rank 1 recently).

Perg was never meant for this and it makes a mockery of the Normal realm.
Currently there is an army size limit which kicks you out of Perg when you reach it.

However, my suggestion is that a similar thing happens with Rank. When someone in Perg reaches a certain rank they should be automatically kicked in to the Normal Realm. It makes sense to believe that if someone can hold Rank 2 in Perg for so long, that they are no longer "small" and require the protection of Perg.

I believe the suggested rank should be the current 1 g&r rank (1800 or whatever it is). The reason for this rank is because those in Normal Realm obtain Glory and Reputation at this rank, but no Glory and Reputation ever comes from someone being/hiding in Perg. I know people in Perg don't get g&r anyway, but that rank is only a suggestion.

EDIT: I have just been informed you do get g&r in perg (never knew since i never been there). This is even more reason the g&r rank is a good option.

....if people get autokicked when they reach a certian rank then everyone will be kicked....



eg:

if you kick players 1-20 outta the realm, then what happens to the players ranked 20-40? they're now ranked 1-20.... thus the autokicker will just keep kicking people out till there's nobody left....

Actually I have just re-thought it......

If for example people in perg were ranked 1 - 20 and got kicked, then those in ranks 21 - 40 would still be ranked 21 - 40 because the ranks are not seperate in realms.

So if Mightymidget got kicked he would still be in Rank 2 but in Normal Realm. (until someone pays him a visit).

So I don't think my suggestion needs rethinking.

I mean having 20million super defenders on an account sat in purg is crazy and totally invalidates the point of purgatory... it shouldn't and cannot be used to protect idiots from themselves......

i spent alot of time in perg but also agree since once u get good enough for those ranks u are no longer a new account who needs to be seperated. but i do think the rank should be a bit higher as its really easy to get rank 1800 these days because of all the wars.

So the moment your perg account gets one or more G&R points it gets kicked into main.

You ascend, then according that you are below the entry limit, you can go back into perg.

Seems fair enough and also ensures that all G&R points (with the possible exception of the first) are earnt in main.

just dont give them glory and rep in purg full stop... and anyone with a rank between 1 and 300 who is in purg should be auto kicked...

Why? 2 reasons...

Firstly, because, as most of us know, rank is not a true reflection of power in the game - hasn't been for the best part of 3 years or so - so why should someone be removed from perg because of their rank? If someone in perg with less than 35 mill (or whatever) army is ranked 1, it just goes to show how silly the game and rankings have become when all those with armies in excess of 100 and 200 million can drop their rank easily - that is the mockery of the game, not perg!

Secondly, it could be exploited as a tactic - somebody might be in perg for legit reasons but, if this suggestion was applied, could be forced out by an opposing alliance by them purposely dropping their rank. Therefore the person in perg's rank increases, taking them beyond the rank limit, and they are auto-kicked as a result, when the opposing alliance are then free to rebuild and attack at leisure. This would mean that getting removed from perg is potentially beyond the account owners control - and while I understand why the suggestion was made, I must oppose it.

The problem lies in why and how perg was introduced in the first place, and the ludicrously unmeaningful ranking system - all creating new parameters for being kicked out does is create new problems, rather than actually solving the existing ones.

First off,,, remove purg, its a exploitable joke.

Secondly, if it must stay, NO G&R points in purg, how can you acheive "glory" or "reputation" while hiding? Also, unrank all purg accounts. Why are they ranked if they are hiding? All accounts in purg get the same rank so all raiding is =.
