and while we're on that subject, EtL was banned for telling people about a 4th market turn, among some other rubbish that you added in there, like insulting a mod, by saying she shouldn't have insulted me which was later modded, although no warning for her... big surprise there...

Supposedly, EtL told someone about a false update, which isn't true as has been pointed out, the update is set, you are just "apparently" trying to get hold of admin before it goes live to get him to cancel it, and you profess for people to get their fact straight...

Etl in short time you broke several forum rules to make sure you know them let me post them:

6. Disrespecting any of the game or forum staff is strictly forbidden. If you have a problem with a moderator, PM an Administrator about it.

Last time there was a public mod recruitment effort you guys got far more applications than you had seats to fill. Many of the mods that were created at that point are the leading mods now. Don't tell me that there are no potential mods to take the position of ones leaving, because chances are if you did the same thing that worked before, it would work again.

There needs not be any incentive to be a mod, although as I said earlier, I couldn't care less if the modifiable tag stayed.

Talk about back and forth, arguing is how Tennis was created. The mere fact, "benefits in game for mods" was brought up shows sever distastefulness of those who raised the topic, and more so those who agreed with it.

Being a mod is a privileged not a right, and you take an extra work load on because of that, but if you do not have the time to both moderate and play the game, you should give one up, namely moderating.

The excuse oh we use time to "help the community" so I can't build a good account is a pathetic excuse. As I said above, stand down and you can build your account. You should not have any in game advantages and thats that.

You did however say yes, and not no.. so you accepted the job and all it entails freely, so please spare us your tripe.

Heres an offer for you, for any mod or admin who feels they deserve in game benefits for doing this job, stand down, and i'll do your job for free, without whining and without conspiring to gain advantages in game for it.

I personaly do think mods deserve alittle something for all the crap the general public seems to throw at us (Some deserved, some not). Either way we give up our time with our R/L's and game time to try to do something for the community so I do feel we deserve some recognition ingame for it.

The titles were nice, I like them even tho I haven't changed mine. As for the MT I do feel that was too much. No ingame advantage should be offered as that leads to mods who do it for the advantage, not for the good of the community.

Now i've proven you did indeed say you deserve some recognition INGAME for it, I can say you're clearly back peddling and trying to twist your way out of your own words.

Now before you say you said the other part I also put in bold, i'll clarify you said no ingame advantage shuold be given that leads mod to do it for the advantage and not for the good of the community, meaning you do agree with ingame rewards, as you said above.
