buck, it's simple like that:
the moment you disagreed with the moderator team and decided to resign, their "OMG he joined the dark side! He's no longer one of us" alert got triggered and therefore they don't have to thank you. But you can be quite sure they are talking crap behind your back now.
Same goes for Bad Wolf and any other mod who has resigned.
