Taking a planet off of MPDSD
well not sure how hard this would be to implement but if you put a planet on Merlins you should have the ability to take it off should you feel the need to. one reason you may want to do this is you decide to sell a planet but it is on merlins and won't come off in time for you to make a quick sell or when the buyer will be on it would be nice to take if off and guarantee that only he steals the planet and not someone else while it is not on merlins. hopefully this makes sense. one other thing i forgot to add is that you do not get any MPDSD back it is lost forever you take it off and any merlins still on it are gone. suggestions and enhancement are all welcome. by the way how often does forum read these?

Re: Taking a planet off of MPDSD
well yes but admin never intended for planets to be able to be sold so other than that reason i dont see any other reason why you would want to keep it off Merlins usually if i have to put it on merlins i only do it for a day and add more if needed
ps i agree with you on this one

yeah you may accidentally merlins a planet for 3-4 days by mistake or even 30 days. most likely reason would be so you can sell it but mostly for the reasons i have not thought of

Re: Taking a planet off of MPDSD
I say no. Why? Simply because what you are asking for isn't something to make the game better. Instead - it is something to make a certain situation more convenient to you - i.e. being able to switch MPDSD on and off at will.
If you think you might want to sell a planet, then don't use MPDSD - but you can't expect to have the game changed to suit a potential need just to make it more convenient.
Why should there be a guarantee that only the player you are selling the planet to can steal it?
Not being able to sell a planet quickly because it is on MPDSD, or the buyer not being online at the right time is a consequence of being on MPDSD and a risk in the game. Accept it!
There's also potential for such a facility to be abused.
As for 'accidentally' putting a planet on MPDSD for so many days - be more careful.
Again, a big NO - it is simply a suggestion of convenience and to eliminate risk.

As I said above - be more careful - besides, it's not an easy mistake to make.
If only it was that easy in real life to correct mistakes? eh?
Bottom line be more careful - if you make a mistake, you live with the consequence.

What about making it even easier by be able to transfer your planet using a broker through the market.

sorry but that wont happen... thats what Forum said at least...

"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."

A broker is just like a contract, i agree too trade this for that, why not 'i will pay a certain amount for your planet', its a simple trade.

Re: Taking a planet off of MPDSD
yeah i have to agree the broker planet thing would be okay but needs some fine tuning. my suggestion is all defense on the planet vanishes and it cannot be resold for a month or stolen back by the seller for the same amount of time
