Premiership Grand Slam Sunday!

The top 4 in the Premiership (Man Utd, Arsenal, Chesea, Liverpool) play each other this weekend:

Man Utd V Liverpool
Chelsea V Arsenal

Could blow the title race wide open - or possibly take United or Arsenal a step closer to having it in their grasp!

What do you think?

Re: Premiership Grand Slam Sunday!

Arsenal will win.
Im pretty certain that you (Wolf359) are a Man Utd Fan/supporter, i have to applause that they have been playing generally very well, despite i haven't watched too much, i've picked up on it though on several occasions.

Edit
My prediction would be that Man Utd and Chelsea will win
My hopes would be that Liverpool and Arsenal win

Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.

Before Lost concluded, my main flippant excuse for not killing myself was that I wanted to know how it ended. I will get back to you with a new one when I find it.

Re: Premiership Grand Slam Sunday!

Man Utd 3 - 0 Liverpool

Chelsea 2 - 1 Arsenal

leaves Utd 5 points clear ahead of Chelsea at the top of the table.

I've been amused by all th earmchair pundits who said it was wrong for Mascherano to be sent off 'because all he did was ask 'nicely' why Torres had been booked'......

...... and they know this how?

Fact is Mascherano had been yellow carded earlier, and ever sine his booking he was mouthing off at the ref constantly. Torres was then booked for arguing with the ref and so Mascherano, bearing in mind he is already on a yellow, runs 20 yards towards the ref and questions the decision?

He shouldn't have got involved and deserved his booking, and subsequent sending off - even Jamie 'cut me in half and it says Liverpool' Redknapp thought so.

Hats off to Steve Bennet! It's about time refs starting dishing out punishments to argumentative players!
