Platform only 50% of natural defense?

[Human]

Example:
Planet defense is 1000(Def: 3,000,000,000)
Platform defense is 3000(Def: 9,000,000,000)

So the total defense is:
A) 1000 + 3000 = (Def: 12,000,000,000)
or
B) 1000 + 50%(1000) = (Def: 4,500,000,000)

The platform is completely seperate from the planet, you must first destroy the plat to even get to the planet, so you can have a 0 def planet with 5000 def on the plat
