Preparing for Ascension?

Someone once told me he was preparing for ascension. I'm wanting to ascend sometime in the near future for my second time but I was curious as to how one prepares for ascension. My first time I ascended as soon as I was able to, now I'm wondering if there's an easier way to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Also... I'm a commander. What does naming one of my officers my prodigy do?

You prepare for ascending by gathering resources ahead of time, and when ascending you send them away from your account so you don't lose them.

Personally, I always ascend with enough resources stashed to come out of my ascention PPT with higher stats, UP, and covert levels then I went into it with. This way you have no moment of weakness after ascention.

Also... I'm a commander. What does naming one of my officers my prodigy do?

Gives them a fancy title, nothing else. Only 1 in your ranks can wear the name at a time I think.

I don't understand what you mean by sending them away from my account. I'm in the pergatory realm and I have been there since it first came out. I don't know how to send away resources. as you said.

Cant send any resources in perg, you would have to come to main and find a trustworthy friend able to send and recieve for it to be able to work.

As Dom said, come to main and broker all your excess UU and Naq to a friend, well actually you can do it with any account dead or active.

Say you got 10 mill UU and 25 trill naq

make 2 brokers
1. for 10 mill UU for 10 mill UU
2. for 25 trill naq for 25 trill naq

Then it doesnt matter if they accept or denie it, you lose nothing. and if it expires then you still get your resources back before your ascention PPT ends. Also, use you PPT wisely, train all miners to max your naq income until right before it ends and then build an army.
