Anime Magic

If you could turn any kind of anime or manga magic into a real magic style (for the skeptics, just assume for a moment magic IS real), what series would you pick, what style from that series, and why?

Personally, I would want to learn the elemental styles from Kaze no Stigma. More specifically, the wind and fire styles. :P

i've always liked the cardcaptors form of magic.

well im more into physical combat techniques... however im in the process of writing a script (taking longer than thought due to college and life in general) and it seems to combine physical combat, and forms of... i guess you could call it magic in a speculative fiction piece... i may post more when i can. for the moment, im really busy.

i'd be satisfied if i had the powers/abilities of Alucard from Hellsing

but yes...there are a large number of anime series with desirable powers

like...Captain Planet! :lol:

bankai isn't really magic

kidou is magic, zanpaktou are swords which are an extension of your soul :P

wouldn't mind having some of the Devil Fruit powers from One Piece, some pretty epic powers there

i always thought bankai was a form of kidou which lets your soul manifest itself and lets you completely "merge" with your zanpaktou...

but hey. i only watch the subtitled. lol they're probably very flawed lol

nah

bankai is a release of your zanpaktous true power, it implies that you have an intimate knowledge of your zanpaktou and thus yourself

for example, ichigo has bankai, but no kidou

only thing is, you have your bankai

i can come up with my own bankai which is more powerful lol

if we both have kidou then it makes things more even and rely's on strength,ability and knowledge of kidou rather than making up a bankai

well bankai manifests itself and represents the strength of the beholder as well. It matches what type of fighting you prefer, your personality, and how much spirit energy you have. It can get more powerful. you just have to train...

also im too lazy to learn all the kidou numbers
