anyone who criticises another alliances behaviour in a war is just setting themselves up for a fall imho

Personally, I like most of them, Some ive recently got aquainted with, Others i knew for a while, Others i knew but didnt really speak too until recently. Mostly, They are a lovely bunch of people who are keen to war at the drop of a hat, Lores points that this has happened before are true yes, but do not ditract away from them. FS had almost a baptism of fire when they first entered the frey as a waring alliance, I think there war with omega taught them alot, and since then its been great to see them grow to something so destructive! As with all alliances, they have a few members who say annoying things, Arent quite as good as the rest, or arent as bright and can be a bit nasty but...Thats part and parcel of every alliance. I dont like the way some of NS's members post but, Thats just the way it is.

Either way i wont be partakeing in the Poll, I dont see it nessecary, Those whom i know know i like them, Those whom i dont know, Dont know. Thats good enough for me.

As noted with the recent small arguements, Threads like this can show up both positives and negatives...If you want FS, Let me know and we can close this thread, As it will probally have alot of flameing in it soon enough. If not, Then let people disscuss you and dont get too offended...Afterall, Tis a game.

I have no feelings about them at all to be honest....wasn't aware of them breaking into the big leagues....always thought of them as a peripheral alliance.

Although just from reading this thread I kinda dislike them for jumping down lore's throat over something so innocuous....but, meh, I can't say I've given them anything more than a passing thought really....

well.... to be honest my opinion probably wont mean much, ingame im not exactly a well known member....

however all my dealings with FS have yielded good results, from diplomatic issues with other alliances (sometimes i needed to ask MLH for a little help with 'tee-ing up' convos with other leaders or diplomats) or even with FS themselves (some members of my alliance were accidentally massed in a FS training exercise. my commander is in FS so we sorted it out after) after all is said and done it all came down to a good friendly relationship with any members of their's.

personally i dont like the idea of their war stance, but thats just my tastes in gameplay. im still trying to build and am pretty small so i definitely wouldnt fit in in FS however they seem to have their fun and thats really all this is about, its a game as buck said. so why not enjoy it?

I like FS and AFAIK I get on with all their current members.

I have in the past been slightly disappointed at the types of characters they have let in to their alliance, but those characters are no longer in FS so all is good.

But to be a little honest, there's too many war threads with FS.

I reckon there are definately some good guys in there...but as a whole my opinion has not changed. They have battered a few insignificant, or generally quiet people and alliances (as far as I know..), leading them to think they're up there with the big boys...alas they are not....

I think there is still much to learn for some of them when it comes to the game and the community.

I add here, the one thing I am impressed by with FS is their alliance spirit. I have never seen an entire alliance showing such a close relationship together in this game.

I do not hate you FS...I do not really respect you as a group...I generally nothing you. Not like you or I care either way.

Also kinda don't like these threads in general - normally end in a mud-slinging match....too much like the official I hate Omega threads

I know they took a good war to Omega, and had a long fight with technocracy....but who else can you guys add to your kill list? (Genuine lack of knowledge here, not looking for agro )

I've always thought of SGW as:

The big boys: OE, DDE, TLE, TAF, TOB
Intermediate Alliances: AK, EPA, FS, WOB, TC (At different times in their history I'd have put AK and EPA in with the big boys, and TA and TO down here)
Long-serving Alliances but not major political players: Titans, Squad UK, Elite Guard, Bono, Legacy of the 5th

I don't think they want to be in the "big boy" catagory. I think they have found their nich in the top of the warring middle class.

They choose to stay small, not to become an empire of many alliances. Its a valid and strong tactic geared toward the fault in game mechanics. A small active and well trained force can take much naq and do much damage, but gives little retrobution and has little to farm.

They are who they are.
