So you're willing to "enhance" it if you see fit but not if someone else does? The link could be abused!!! How many times do you want me to say that? The link added nothing to gameplay. No skill. No strategy. All it took was finding enough proxy sites.

Yes, we're all the same army size. But again we have our spy, anti-spy lvls, bank upgrades, UP lvls, weps. It was a one-off fix, that won't happen again.

I seem to remember posting all this before.....three or four times in this thread pops. One-off fix, for a link that could be abused. Shouldn't have been brought across from beta, I agree, but it was, and gary got rid of it and fixed the problem as quick as he could. End of story.

Lets play the game. This isn't going to affect the game in a fortnight's time. So why get worked up over it???

People who spent time in it, are now equally sized by army (and given UP strenght, it isnt like much difference can be made quickly) to people who spent close to zero minutes in it.

But he didn't reset your account!!! You still have all the lvls etc that you bought. The active input you had on the game you've kept. All you've lost are the free uu from ppl clicking a link.

You still have the advantage over new accounts. Use it and prove you're a good player, rather than simply a guy who happened to sign up when the game initially went live.....

@RepliMagni, well, I've been on page 1 till game live started almost, aside since tokras sabbed me..had one of top ten coverts for a long time...so no, I wasn't doing nothing, otherwise I wouldn't be that annoyed.
It's infact because I have spent much time playing it that I'm annoyed.


I'm done discussing now, none of both sides agrees with the other, so we could go on for monthes there. I'll keep my opinion on it, and you, yours. And I'll also give myself the liberty to spend more time in other things, that way, next time something happens (no matter what it can be), I'll not care.

Not following you here mate. If you have a good covert then you have an advantage of people just starting. So what are you complaining about? As for the time you spent playing - thats reflected in your lvls.

If you spent 2mil naq on something that got taken out of the game - and only you had it and no one else - then I could understand your frustration. You've lost out compared to others. But everyone get levelled in this. You haven't lost out in comparison to others, except in having your advantage because of the link removed.

Anyway, as you say, lets move on to the future of the game

Reducing click link in beginning wouldn't have been a problem for me! It was there, so if it's bad thing, it should have been addressed earlier.
What was addressed, the image being broken, not that we shouldnt have it.

Because army is everything along with UP, and we are in a level that there are mostly no differences between UPs, since we start at 40, and can upgrade 1 by 1, and that early game level was too expensive to benefit from UP. Did that answer you well?
It's ALSO cutting people's UP benefits, a person who was at 450, another at 280, well now they both are at same size, no matter who was active one and who wasn't.

It reminds me too much of how our school system worked in a certain category (gifts to students in secondary schools, not being given to those working well, but to everyone), that's why it annoys me so much lol!
Because I'm an hardcore opponent of this kind of system (giving everyone a calculator or a dictionary no matter how they study every year)!
Sure, some will use better the calculator or the dictionary than others (ie those who didnt deserve it), but the fact remains.

I agree getting rid of clicking at the start would have been better. BUT Gary tried to undo his mistake. The game is young and he prevented the long-term inequality that would have developed from abuse of it.

Thats because your more concerned with the health and state of the game, over your own account or the effect of any updates on it.

Don't worry AG, we know your doing the best you can with what you been given. Considering you never knew what theses games were or how they worked, and was give such a short amount of time to both get up to speed, and get the game going. Sorry you got rushed to launch the game before it was truely ready, but we are glad you are here, you are active, you are responding to our concerns, fixing issue that do weigh heavily on long term health, and not just blowing the game off.

To talk about those things...I wasn't one of the people who were hurrying admin to release a live version, for reasons that are popping in now (sabbing issue, click site related stuff...).
I was fully aware a too early release would have its problems. And I didn't mind three or four extra weeks for beta. That has to be known!

I'm not blaming admin for what he did there (as I know complaints would have remained till he "fixes" it anyway..), I'm blaming people who wanted him to do it (while past reports were about broken image, nobody insisting to get rid of those links). Like I blame people who asked admin to release early the game, no matter if he did finish it. Rather have a live game half beta, than waiting bit more to have a fully functional game, meh...Patience lack is a very bad thing!

For me, it's same thing that double fleet powers things, making things more "easy" for some because they feel how it is in analyzed situation, is bad.

vendetta thread k thanky btw can we get some more forums as in our own alliance rec section and our own vendetta corner because really they only serve main atm on forums and i think it would help if we could if we could clearly see these things are for origins instead of the other servers
