Raiding
Why do I get a very unwelcome message when I try to raid. I use the raid formula, I have PLENTY of offensive weapons too.
The message is. "This realm is too far away (in ranks) to reclaim the personelle you wish to acquire. You give up in aim of a closer haul."

Re: Raiding
To raid someone their rank needs to be within 10x yours+10, so if you are ranked 2000 you can only raid up to rank 20010.
The best strategy is to sell all your offensive weapons but one, wait until the turn change, then raiding is cheaper and you're able to raid more targets.
If you have any questions feel free to send me a message

Not much to add to that except maybe for decent raids and who to raid. Always try to raid people with close to 0 defense. Declare war on them ( most good raids are inactive) if u hit over 9k uu per 15 at u have a decent rate.

Example...
Rank 100
(100+10)100 = 1100
Which is different than what you said of multiplying rank by 10 then adding 10.
Because if your rank 1 wouldn't it be more fair to be able to attack down to rank 100 as opposed to rank 20?

Re: Raiding
Depending on your level of laziness you can hit for different amounts. 500k is about the best you can expect to find enough of and grow good. Although if your lazy you can hit at like... 350k lol.Lonewolf1968 wrote:I Am Thor wrote:lol

Thanks Empedocles now you've let out the secret of me being lazy!!
I have been taking what I can get but not anything less than 350k and my little realm is growing nicely thank you very much.
Can't wait to start collecting those G&R points though.

Planet Raiding
Ok,
Another question from the newbie. What about conquering a planet from an inactive account.
I haven't yet, just wondering whether it's done or whether it's frowned upon.

I don't think anyone will mind
feel free. You probably have to build them up a little since they will most likely suck.

Re: Raiding
Try to be possitive its from a inactive account though. Some people here are so trigger happy that they will mass u for taking a planet.

Then they are very poor sports/sore losers. It's a game. Chalk it up to bad strategy and move on!

But always make sure they're inactive before you attack.

Re: Raiding
I have PM's every account I have farmed after I watched them for several days. I asked them if they were still active to set me to peace. No one has responded, The instant I find one of them really wasn't active, just away for awhile I will back off.
