Clarkey although the forum is here because of "THE GAME" it is clearly here for the games COMMUNITY... and therefor it is here for the use of the community to addresse the needs that they have... so be it if it is spam eh?

So players have a "need" to make rather stupid multiple threads as mentioned above?
If so then I advise stretching legs once in a while and taking a walk.

I don't think its your place at all to dictate how people decide to spend there time or to suggest how they do so

Dictate: order: issue commands or orders for.....

I "advised" streching of legs. I did not dicate anything to anyone.

Okaaay Clarkey.. I think it's time we all stepped back and looked at the current situation for a few seconds, shall we?

First of all I would like to point out that my comments regarding this "issue" that some people seem to be making it into, were made lightly; with no offense intended against anyone.

Now Clarkey, since you seem to want to make this into a HUGE deal and start nitpicking every scrap of post I provide, I think I'll start returning the favour

While I may disagree with deleting the Temple's contents just for the heck of it, it's only natural for it to be 'pruned' often.

I've noticed the 38 pages in the 'General' section of the forums don't receive these "prunings"

lol that's because the General section is generally ingame related stuff. Yes some stuff may be in there that shouldn't but that's life. But bottom line is, the General section has 38 pages of stuff because it is ingame related topics, and this forum is here because of THE GAME.

Sometimes when I visit the Temple i'm not surprised it gets nuked so often.

Have you taken a look at a few of the threads in the GC? From what I've seen, half the posts in there are just people venting hate at some player/alliance/empire..

I wondered how long it would be before you start picking holes at other areas of the forum, because clearly your argument is not strong enough to support it's own, therefore you need to pick at other areas to provide that much needed leverage/support for the argument.

Actually Clarkey, it seems to me that it is in fact your "argument" that cannot seem to hold it's own. What with the constant "hole-poking", sarcasm, and not to mention the fact that you completely ignored whatever I had to say; then attempted to insult me by saying my so-called "argument" doesn't hold weight, but don't explain at all why you think that. Speaking of insults, it seems you've been doing quite a lot of that since your return from vacation. And before you try to pull the same "Get off your ass and have a run" 'insult' on me too; I live on a farm, and get more than my share of exercise


To wrap this drama case up for the most part; I don't have an argument, never did. I have personal opinions in which I honestly don't care if you feel the need to pick and prod at my every word to prove some point, or something

Oh and lastly, I'm willing to bet that this nice long post of mine will get me into "sin-bin" in regards to the new modding staff that I just so happened to have applied for, but really; who cares? I submitted my application with the intent of helping the community by giving up a bit more of my time and energy and putting it to some good use. I did NOT however, apply for the position so that I could sit around talking in locked threads because of my apparent boredom, nor did I do it so that I could insult and belittle people who's OPINIONS I hadn't even bothered to take a look at. You throw my app out the window, good; it just means much less work for me, and not to mention I won't be wrongfully placed into that category of modship when people continue complaining about how crappy a job they do; when actually it's only the select few's words and actions that seems to give the word "Mod" a disgusting connotation.

the worse its going to get eh? It is not my fault that people do not have any perseverance and give up after a single nuking....get over yourselves as spammers it is your duty to fight back against this sort of thing and it is indeed a cycle.

I have said it continuously but yet you have me say it again, limiting the amount of times a nuking can happen limits when it should happen to an almost set schedule and thus moderators discretion is gone....

now for people saying that other places do not get pruned well since I am not a general mod I cannot do anything with the 38 pages there and this that those is not spam and does not need to be cleaned although some of the locked topics could probably use moving to the dump.

Well i haven't noticed the nukings i only hear the complaints, cause really im happy to post in any topic of interest and it would seem SS is thinking it is getting out of hand and to frequent? so i dunno... really my presence in this topic is just spam
