Re: The Mentality of Internet Gamers

I know how you feel man. When I started to play on-line I started with Spades. I was one of the players who heckled the others when they lost. It was fun I did it for kicks. Wanted to see how many tables I would get booted from. Man I miss those days they were fun. Now if only I remembered that website so I could have some more fun. And yes I'm an American and proud of it. Guess we have it in our DNA to be RUDE and CURSE while playing anything on the internet. But boy is it FUN doing it. Knowing you can say whatever you want to somebody and they can't do a thing to you.

It's funny you say this. I

HATE

how Americans treat other people. I'm an American, but I don't rage against people just because they destroy me. I'd rather laugh over it. I've been across so many Americans (even 8 year olds) that rage and swear against other people because of something stupid. It's the second biggest pet peeve I have; hypocrites are my biggest.

Actually, most people I run into are from multiple nations. The point is being - most of the people I run into that talk out their ass ARE American.

Pretty much. Also notice how many of them are under the age of 13 :?

BTW, I live in the Buffalo, NY area; other New Yorkers see us as virtually Canadian

Re: The Mentality of Internet Gamers

Local CoD4 servers and ArmA II servers FTW, don't have to deal with the whiney foreigners...But unfortuantly we do still get the whiners that run around with nothing but a tube and STILL end up with a < K/D ratio out the window...Oh and then moan that you consistantly knifed them in the back while they were trying(but failing) to shoot at someone...

Re: The Mentality of Internet Gamers

I hate it when I get killed by the noobtube but I don't think any less of the person using it, since it's the best thing in the game, and I have a class with it. I use it when I am playing people I really hate, I change to it and then pwnz0rs them, that and M21...

Re: The Mentality of Internet Gamers

I dislike players who run around with the noobtube armed 24/7 and shoot it the moment they see a player like it automatically is going to kill them.

Players who only rely on their Noobtubes are failures.
