if you had to choose between:
1 - Decades of continued warfare in the middle east with tens of thousands of civilian casualties and millions of lives ruined from the wars
2 - Having peace there, but at the cost of making that region uninhabitable (through making it saturated with deadly radiation), but with all the denizens evacuated first...
which would you choose?
