Religious topic not considered:

I like it. It has clean lines on the cross. I like that the white and black seem to balance each other as well.

Personally, I'm not a fan of red. Maybe it's significant to the symbol of the cross? Who knows?(not getting into that)

Suggestion:
I don't know if you could do this, but maybe see if you can create on where the background changes colours, that would be neat. They would have to be lighter colours or colours that contrast greatly with black (ie. dark purple, navy blue, hunter green, etc. wouldn't work out so nicely.
