If we are at what "people" wanna see ( ) some wanted Argentina vs Brazil, England vs Italy etc...as final match.

N Spainidh games have been the most boring games out of all worldcup, I foupt next one will even be worth watching

I have seen many people who said they would be supporting Spain for the exact reason they considered Spain to be last representant of technical/enjoying to watch football opposed to robotic like football from Germany considering the saying "other teams play, and Germany wins the match" (even though Spain won the match by playing but some people say it was boring to see dribbles and all, duh). Given Brazil and the likes were out.
So it looks like there's many people who completly disagree with you there!

Just like same could have been said about Argentina then.
Considering what they did before facing Germany, and during that particular match where they were defeated greatly by 4-0 and completly dominated by Germany.

Probably because they cry about something that happend to Germany this match, which funnily happend to team they beat on their previous (being beaten and not able to do anything about it.
Thus, given that, quietness about "omg they were paid to lose" would be wise given the defeat they gave to Argentina, which if we are to be all-paranoid about cheating everywhere, can be also considered as "suspicious".

due you are the biggest sourpuss here its ridiculous. the teams that are in the final earnt it and deserve it. fottballs a cutthroat game, 90mins and anything can happen, anyone can win. germany were not good enough on the day and lost. that simple.

Spain was the #1 favorite when world cup started, defeat against Switzerland brought doubt, but now, Spain are just living by what expected from them.
It's not the 60's or 70's anymore guys, when two or three teams were bound to go to final and beat anything inbetween.

My opinion... (Germany was my no. 1 favourite for the WC trophy, btw)


The Germans were not paid to lose - that's BS (though, with the gambling mafias nowadays, it is easy to suspect such - I do not think that a WC match can be bought, no matter how much money is involved).


Spain had a perfect tactical game and they had some luck by scoring quite late in the game (if Spain had scored earlier, i think Germany could have made a draw 1-1 eventualy, by putting pressure on them and throwing all the balls to their strikers - skipping the combinations). Germany had no solutions to break Spain's defense and if i look backwards in all the tournament, i can now be very sure that Spain has the best defense of all the teams... firstly because they keep the ball possession and 2ndly because they play like a team, did you noticed how fast they move on the pitch everytime 2-3 players quickly surrounding the adversary who has the ball?


For the final Nederland is my no.1 favourite, but if they play like the germans, they will have the same fate, even though Robben and Snejder are better than Sweinsteigger or Ozil.

Spain really deserves it, they never went to a world cup final match before, and have been among best nations in last few years, so it's a good thing to see them in final.

Haven't you read up on the gory scandals surrounding Spain? Did you know, for example, that 'Del Bosque' was a Catholic priest before becoming a coach? Do you want to know his reasons? "Boys will be boys." And Fabregas? As soon as he sets foot on African soil -and thus gets his participation bonus- he 'injures' himself, screwing everyone who expected glorious football from him. Germany vs England who can't play as a team 4-1
Germany vs Argentina a team who had no defensive structure and a keeper who makes Robert Green look like a god 4-0

Spain vs Portugal another highly ranked team with great attacking and defending players 1-0

So if you're going by big names yeah Germany had a tougher route, the blind school and the bullies. Spain just had to overcome the Portuguese which any team could do in their sleep (Cote d'Ivoire and Brazil especially)

Uruguay had the easiest route but they had to cheat along the way and they still didn't make it

Well, I know that many people on medias are angry at Robben simulating just before first goal against brazil, and Van Bommel careless hard play, but well, I don't mind to "disqualify" myself to support "cheaters" as you call them.

I support who I support, I see no point in looking who's the team who did this that etc. You know what? I support teams I LIKE, not those who are glorious awesome multiple world cup winners. I like Portugal, I like Spain, I am French, IT IS LIKE THAT . I also like Netherlands, so I'm curious what you would say about that lol.

I prefer by FAR supporting Portugal & Spain than North Korea, who might not be a wrong team by themselves, but what's behind it is far worse than any latin team! (their midget dictator and the way he treats his population).

No team is 100% clean, that's how it is. I don't see why I should support teams like a sheep like others might, just because they are world champs yadda yadda.

EDIT: supporting was probably not the exact word, following/cheering for is more likely, excepted France, which I support.

No, I meant sell. Because when you support team(s) and xyz reasons lead you to change to other team(s), it's a sell, because you switch original allegiance(s) to something else and thus cannot be considered as a true supporter.
Rotative supporting with different team(s) sets every season/cup, because former supporter team(s) aren't good enough/are suspected to cheat/are bound to lose/aren't "cool anymore", I consider as selling, because your allegiance is fake and motivated by other means than team itself and all what it induces.
Example: selling yourself to most "political correct/fair" team which is least likely to lose/cheat/be mentionned in scandals etc...while this team wasn't among team(s) you supported before, and has nothing to do with you, but because they are "better" than others you decide to support them. When they change and don't remain the "best" anymore, your allegiance changes asap. That's what I'm talking about, Thriller.

Probably because I don't hold in high esteem at all, this kind of behaviour to seek teams who are awesome and then abandon them as soon as they aren't that awesome anymore.

Sounds like your trying to rationalize some childish view of partiotism/loyalty you put beleif in.

When i support a team, it doesn't follow that i identify them as some abstract part of my being. It means i enjoy watching them play and want them to succeed.

Everyone has their favorites but it's not a bad thing to be open minded enough to cheer for other teams outside of the ones you traditionally cheer for
