It would still create a problem. Your friend see you being massed, send their MS over, and suddenly your MS is 2x the power it was before, and if the person attacking had a MS 50% the size of yours to start with, it becomes 25%

That was the general idea yeah, sarevok.
Hmm, perhaps it should apply in certain scenario's.
Like:
During an alliance war, both sides set war, mothership alliance support gets available for those particular fights.
It could then obviously work both ways, during attacks and during defence.

Or your ms automatically defence alliance..
say 10 members with 600b ms = 6t alliance ms total..
That 6t ms vs another alliances 10t ms..
the 10t ms of course wins and the 10t ms alliance can then steal naq out of the losers alliance bank...
1 hit per 48 hours.
