untrained mercs??

So whats the point of having untrained mercs? because you cant do anything with them so why have them untrained

Yea, they are fairly worthless,

unless you absolutely need to send a secure resource,
(as Umercs never die, only bought and sold),
to an officer in the opposite realm, (to perg, or back to normal)


or because the commander is quickly going on vacation mode
and Attack turns are not an appropriate gift for the situation...

Even then, the sale of the Umercs by the officer back to the Merc Market results in a 40% loss in value.

I think there was at one time the idea by Admin Jason or the original game creator that something might be done with them,
but nothing ever has been.
