Re: 17th Precinct
I have no idea what this show is about, what genre it is, who acts in it, or anything.
What the devil Batman.

Harry Potter meets Law and Order, with Battlestar Galactica providing the cast.

Tricia Helfer and James Callis Cast in NBC Pilot 17TH PRECINCT
Looks like Battlestar Galactica developer/executive producer Ron Moore really likes the idea of keeping his galactic family together. TVLine.com reports that Tricia Helfer has joined the cast of Moore’s new pilot for NBC.
The series, called 17th PRECINT, is about a fictional town called Excelsior, where magic and supernatural elements rule over science and cops at the local 17th Precinct deal with more than just your standard bad guys. Helfer is set to play the role of Morgana, described as a necromancer (the magical equivalent of a coroner) who is an expert at manipulating the potions, tools, herbs and spells of her trade.
In more casting news for the series, TVLine.com also reports that James Callis has also been added to the cast as a homicide detective.
Both Helfer and Callis join fellow Battlestar alumni Jamie Bamber, who was previously cast in the pilot.
