big topgear fan here, been to 2 of the live shows, both were interstate and a bit of a long trip to get to, but oh so worth it. ;p
Pretty sure a yute is short for Utility Vehicle, flatbed ( UK ) or pickup ( US ), no offense, just having a giggle. Now stick another Roo steak on the barbi & toss me a tinny lol You guys must hate what Neighbours did to you, teenagers all over the world think Assies are like that
heh... yeah it is pretty sad what they portray us to be. kind of what I assume little britain or come fly with me do for the british?

mind you I dont know and cant say much, I may be aussie but my background is English/Welsh/French. lol.
as for the car itself, it's just an average family sedan over here. you might have seen it as the Mitsubishi Diamante, I cant seem to remember where MMAL exported it to, and I'm too tired to actually read up on it.... lol.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Magna(mine is a TE model, as I said with a 3.0L 6G72. if you're familiar with the 3000GT, its the same engine more or less, minus the turbos.)
suffice to say, its just a comfortable car with a decent V6 under the hood. powerful for its size and economical too. drove from here (Adelaide) to Melbourne, roughly 720kms, on essentially one tank of fuel.
