Whats the problem with giving people lost GnR, UP and Income? We've all lost a week of gametime. The argument to be made isn't about morality or keeping it fair for newer players, Its that we've lost a week of gametime in a free game, If the servers were to go down again for a week in the near future I for one can say I may not bother checking back.

Especially if everything is rolled back as I did a lot of raiding at the start of last week. Whats the point in playing a game that can't keep control of stats! All we're asking for is compensation for sticking with the game and not finding something more stable to fill our time!

Admin said he will return goods bought from ingame cash market. That's the things that *must* be returned (currency used involving Kingdom Games), the rest, well, it would be better if it was returned, but it's different..
I for one would like to see what I farmed being returned, but imagine what extra work would be needed. Not to mention it would be like resources falling from sky: everyone rolledback stats wise, but naq/uu from "future" (after rollback) being returned to players. It wouldn't be logical on gamedwide point of view, even if it might be better on personal point of views. I'm talking about resouces acquired/obtained differently than ingame cash market of course.

And 'more stable'? The last time we had a week of downtime was in 2007. Overreacting, exaggerating, and greedily demanding something you do not deserve.

It is far more impressive that Jason stuck with this community.

Given the other, far more substantial sources of income Jay has, this 'game' is not a 'business' but a profitable 'hobby'.
As far as the business-element goes, read the terms of service. No obligations to provide a continuous service whatsoever.

Yeah I can't imagine it would be possible to return lost naq or uu gotten through farming as I understand that information was lost or something, but it should be pretty simple to replace lost income and unit production, it would just require a calculator with a lot of zero's.

I recognise that the game is usually only down for a few hours max if it does go down so wouldn't it make sense then to look after people when it comes back on after this exceptional downtime.


BTW I only returned to the game a bit over a month ago. Fair enough he has no obligation to return anything to us and fair enough the game is only a profitable hobby. As for you accusations that I'm over reacting, I'm new back to the game and wondering why the hell I decided to start back on this and not something else

Wouldn't it be scamming IF Admin decided not to give back resources to people who bought with money from his cash market? I put emphasis on the "IF", because Jason stated he will take care of ingame cash market trades.
I'm not sure what kind of trades you refer to, I know terms of service state game/admin isn't responsible for P2P trades. I think there might be misunderstanding in this thread.

Personally I don't care if Jason gives G&R to people or not. However, what I do care is that if he gives G&R to people then he should do the same for naq, uu and possibly ATs. You can't benefit one group of people and not the other. So, give nothing or give everything.

No-one knows exactly what Jason is thinking, even if they think they do or they like to give the impression they do. No-one here is in Jason's pocket and knows everything.

It would be nice if Jason rewarded his customers with a little gift for their patience, but only time will tell, and it may be that gift is just a PPT.

Bottom line, I'm not interested in player to player tradeable resources, I simply asked if there would be any consideration for those who are a week short on their ascension plans (and even if it's dealt with on a request by request basis). Some of us scheduled these things to go through on certain dates that's all (holidays booked, work etc). It's not the end of the world and I am not going to **Filtered** and moan if the answer is no but I felt the question was worth asking.

Oh, and cheers Field Marshall (and others) for lending an understanding point of view.

In all honesty with all that has happened with the servers crashing, hearing that replacement parts will take weeks to get installed so moving to new servers to create better game play for all involved, tweaking the new servers, fixing bugs, making sure everything is running right then coming on to forums and seeing every body **Filtered** and complain that they are going to be missing this and that??
You all really think he would go back in and try to fix everyone's G&R?? Cause if he did someone else would just **Filtered** that they are a weeks worth of UP or income away from ascending..

Why cant you all just be glad the game will be back up soon, on a better running server, which will make the game play much more fun for all involved and quit the needless **Filtered**??

No one is not glad, at least that's my stance anyway. I don't really see anyone at all moaning either, so come down from that wonderfully tall horse that you are riding RahL and understand that it was nothing more than a question for consideration. Also realise that GnR is different from other resources, it is not something you can profit from (not directly, anyway).
