it is a misuse of the market. another way to keep loot from being in the open

I agree, and taking suggestions in relation to stop its exploitation.

Current line of thinking is as follows:
*10% fee when cancelling a trade
*Bank upgrades cheaper (50%), and provide several steps up, and not just one at a time
*Adjust weapon re-sell values slightly

how about just looking at the market daily and see who is doing it since its happening as we speak
currently no person in the game has over 4000 uu so why is this broker up? obvious misuse

I think there should also be a 15-30min grace period in which you can cancel your "broker" in case you make a mistake. After that time, you cannot cancel for 8h, after which you lose 50% of resource X

Makes sense.

Personally I think 50% is a little steep. If for some reason the market skyrockets or crashes over night whilst you sleep, then your trade may well be out of date, and the only way to update the exchange rate, would be to accept a 50% loss.

I believe there is another way to use the market as a bank.
If there are two players who want to store x amount of naq each, they can both make an offer of y amount of uu's for x amount of naq. Then they both accept each other's offer and there's x amount of naq they can take from the market whenever they want, unless there is some sort of time limit after which the player automatically collects the naq which I didn't notice.
Anyway, if I'm right, I would suggest that if someone's trade offer is accepted, he would automatically collect the naq/uu's 48 hours after his/her first log in after the trade is accepted.

This would be risky, but I see the logic behind this. Any suggestion about a work around?

There is no option for me to cancel my market offering? So, is this in reference to the time out on the trades (12 hours)?
