Robert has been constructive by reporting his suspicions in private. This thread concerns the question of feeding itself. Apparently it looks like it happens a lot (which I contest), but I can see how the multiple attacks required by people with small MS counts appears like feeding to someone who plays Quantum. Different system.


Additionally; measures were taken recently against possible feeding (because we believe that it was at that point a viable 'way around' the need to farm). It is no longer a viable option, and comes at either great effort by feeder/fed, or at a great cost (half of feeding Naq destroyed).

We have introduced an anti-feeding measure: if you hit someone who has more than twice your carrying capacity in Naquadah, you take 100% of what you would take and the defender loses 100% of your carrying capacity on top of that (due to corruption and theft by their own people).

People attacking the same account lots of times is generally not being fed because people with small MS just find it convenient to farm one target many times, rather than lots of targets one time.

Two ascensions ago I legit found someone with 6 bill naq out while ascension farming. Last ascension I had a friend from TA make an account and let me farm his turns. Then an update was made to make it a little less profitable

1 you farmed using his account? id asume was ileagal
2 He farmed and sent you the naq? is defently feeding (but is it aloud?)
3 He sent you the at's ? id asume was fine but it would be better if he actualy played

Feeding as such is actively discouraged - we will keep making it less and less profitable to do so as people find ways to do it, and the action itself counts as suspicious behaviour. Since farming excesses are relatively limited, we are working on a few other changes to make sure feeding becomes 'tough enough not to be worth it'.
You do not want to be flagged as a suspiciously behaving individual, let me tell you that.


Doc did not farm with the account of his friend. His friend converted the Market Turns to Naquadah, after which Doc was able to hit him. Ergo feeding, discouraged, but not disallowed: it is good to have friends. What is disallowed is creating a multi to do so.
