How was TAF threatened by mH? I'm curious

I meant literally threatened... with words. They threatened to mass us because of something in diplomacy talks so we massed them.

Edit: wasnt the only thing, it was mounting up for a week or 2 before we snapped... took us a few days to get Math back on his rocker...

Two TÅF members were massed by mH in the weeks leading up to this war. The first situation was resolved diplomatically, then they massed a TÅ HC member as part of their "mass the server". We attempted to follow diplomatic routes to sort that out too, when mH threatened to declare war. We simply acted in response, and burned their pony shelters.

They smack talked us numerous times in their 23 alliance war/bithday ME whoring escapade when we commented negatively about how lame they were for it. You know the one they were all super-active and gloating all over the forum about and posting 50 pony pics a day...

Lol actually it was like 20 maybe 25% of members that massed for Ross' birthday and a couple who massed the next day because they missed all the fun.

Your diplomacy talks generally consist of wah wah give us a NAP, which gets a little grating after a while...I don't remember anyone threatening to mass in diplomacy talks but then again i did actively try and avoid them so it could definitely have happened

Edit: Norbe that isn't exactly the whole truth now is it? DI was massed by Bioflick (a member of mH for a few days and a member of the game for a few months) when he had no tags, your 'attempt to follow diplomatic routes' was DI massing Bio in main and ascended. Which we called even as he had been massed in main even if he had no tags, yet you told me on MSN you 'might' still mass him in retaliation so i responded saying that i would mass TAF in retaliation.

I think the bit were you say ile mass taf back in retaliation,kind of did it for us besides ive seen alliances go to war for far less,on the up side im sure your having fun anyway.

@dgb - Yes, war is the most fun part of the game for me, especially against first class players which some of your members are.

Yes we are referring to the incident with DI being massed by bioflick.

And yes, Bio caught DI in the hour or so when he dropped tags to raid. However anyone who is massing should do their research on the target first. DI is a very well known player, and well known to be a TÅ HC member. The fact he was temporarily without tags does not mean you can simply mass him without question and hope that any agreement you have with TÅF prevents retaliation. Of course we will hit back if you mass our members.

DI upon seeing the massing, responded trying to defend himself in the first instance, as should be expected of anyone. The fact that he retaliated did not mean the incident was closed. Any attack on a TÅF member is an act of agression on TÅF as a whole, and will be dealt with as seen fit by TÅ HC.

I was AFK that week due to work, upon my return I heard what happened and spoke with Duderanch. And yes, you threatened to mass TÅF in that conversation. Those threats were backed up with the actions of mH moving house to obtain house war with TÅ. mH leadership promised war if we removed you from the war/war house. Thus the first strike (and war) was authorised by TA HC in response to the threats and agressive positioning by mH. Everything that followed is your own doing.

As we have always done, TÅF do not actively seek war. However we do not allow massings and threats to go unanswered, and we do respond aggressively and decisively when required. Infact, similarly to you, many of us also enjoy war when it does arrive.

We were even looking forward to it when it seemed war was likely. In my first post I mentioned our last 1v1 war with mH in 2008, which was a good fun war with lots of stats built on both sides. It ended after a few weeks on good terms. We hoped for a repeat of something similar; it hasn't happened. The sad thing is even with your insane account you are only capable of picking on TÅÅE, hardly touching those in TÅ and TÅTS. What is even sadder, is the showing from the rest of mH. I have not seen a defense bigger than a tril from anyone other than yourself and bioflick, even those are rare.

Thanks Wilco. With big alliances like ours it's inevitable incidents do occur. However they can be easily resolved if ego's stay in check. That didn't happen with mH here.

I still think it's funny they can declare 23 wars in one day, then they're whole alliance disappears as soon as anyone decent hits back. TA have only lost one def in the past two weeks. Ranks 1-6 are still there. Come on.. either build up and play or quit and walk away now.

Ag Norbe such a cutie you are, I have built numerous defences above 1tril and sure TA may not have lost their rank 1-6 but all in good time, it is way more fun targettings TATS and TAAE whos setups are very unique and MANY defences have been killed in your other 2 alliances remember this war says TAF vs mH not just TA so smeh. Its all about cost ratios mate so yeah keep going on were sad declared 23 wars dissapear dont mass whatever point is your empire is still losing a lot more than us I am pretty sure of that, sure it may not be fun for you but you declared the war thus no stats need be provided to some I am attempting to troll
