Wonder why my post count is so low? Thats because I was deleted. Why you may ask?

My fondest memory... pretty much just a montage of all of HVE greatest moments on msn/hve forums. The chats, the spam, the hilarious banter... thats what made dealing with all of you 'people' on here worth it for me :-D

not one favourite memory but several

running Brigade with my papa Kalkin
The DoC Shout Box, fun times indeed
planning planet strips and missions

most of all the true friends that have stood by me in hard times in RL, and shared laughs in the good times. My loyal officer and hubby JJ :smt060 in particular :smt058

Section Admins - who will be 'in charge' of the section in question. They will be responsible for the overall feel of the section, the setup/structure, and most importantly the community/users in the section. This will incorporate the old 'ombudsman' role. And insofar as the Section Admin is responsible for the users, they are also responsible for the high level mod behaviour towards the users.
So -as a user - if you have an issue with how you are treated, rules, bans, whatever --goto the section admin... They are there for you!

There is no 'reporting structure' in this setup -- tech, mod, and section admins are all on equal footing, each with their own (somewhat overlapping) responsibilities.
Mods report directly to the mod admin, and indirectly to the section admin for the section in which they mod.

@Neimenljivi

No, because if you want to protect what you care for, first you need to be able to protect yourself.

I do not know who asked you to come to TL or TLE in the past. I also understood your last inquiry about possibility to join TL and found nothing wrong with it. Like you said. You honestly stated your intentions directly so all fair.

But with that you have also shown, you have a different perception of TL then for instance me. Again nothing wrong with that, just like I said, not the right guy for this particular TAG.

TL = it's people. People are different and some leave others come, so the entire picture of TL will change with it. And that is normal. But what I think and want of TL to be has stayed the same since it's birth. So you may see us differently because of some happenings with some people. But those are few people who are members.

That is not TL. Because TL is not me, nor those guys stealing your planets. But all of us together.

Re: Favourite Memory?

Ive had a fair few in my time here, but my memory is seriously becoming skewed and cant always remember the full sequence of events. I like to visit the GC archives and read up on some good times every so often

My favourite moments.

First war DBZ vs the Triad (juliette and oding you should rememebr :-D )

joining TG in the 1st server war.

the numerous monsterous naq hits.

Massing 100 trill defence on Fericide.

the DDE/Mayhem war.

above all else however are the great memeories of meeting/talking/playing alongside some awesome people in this game.

Re: Favourite Memory?

War with squad UK was a lot of fun. But the best memory was farming and massing everything in sight trying to catch Blahh in ME. Before the $$$ days, all the resources were built from farming.

DDE actually told me to take it easy. Can you believe that? DDE telling someone to stop attacking so many people. Lmao.

Re: Favourite Memory?

I also have 2 favorite memories.

The first and foremost would be [n00b_hunters] with Motte, and EliteAceMan, and Disturbed_One, and REK and everyone else (sorry if I didn't say your name, I got tired of listing people) and every massing we did together.

My second favorite memory would be the day after I left The Order, when I was going to quit this game forever and REK sent me an ingame telling me I would always have a home in DDE. I miss that man like nuts (I was the leader of his fan club).

Re: Favourite Memory?

Getting accepted into TAF and for the first time understanding how massive and deep this game can be.

Favorite battle memory: During the OE vs TAF war, I had a 60 tril defense, ETL built a big strike and defense and I had an alliance mate Smug build a big enough strike to lifer through ETL's new defense. Within a few seconds of ETL training ac units to war/war burn through my defense, I was down well over 100 mill uu, though my defense still stood, Smug was down tens of millions of lifers, and ETL was autobanned for negative ac units. That was bloody brilliant.

Ooh ooh another one...doc holliday's perfectly planned all out opening strike by TAF on Mayhem/Venom back in 2007. Orrrrr when we tricked Rube Dragon (the FUALL spy in TAF at the start of the last server war) that we weren't going to be massing that night by having a separate teamspeak window for a bunch of the guys to play bf2 (aka massing party) and sneaked in a massing of the biggest defense standing on the FUALL side. So what if two of my favorite memories involve stuff doc holiday did :P

Also selling off every weapon I had and emptying my bank just so I could buy a mothership the first day they came out :-D

Re: Favourite Memory?

Hmm I'd say the 2012 UK SGW meeting. Talking in English about a game in English (not my first language) in real life with other players in a pub or in a restaurant is something quite unique I must say! :P
